Prince's pov :
I shout out loud 'LIFE' I could hear a sudden sound of a tsunami. Oh my God, is it wrong again?
The Tsunami was approaching us from behind and my a word suddenly clicked.
'I can heal and kill without touching you.' - It's Time. I didn't waste any second and shouted out 'TIME' the tsunami that was approaching us suddenly vanished. I was relieved that I found the correct answer. So the second line says - 'I have a face and hands but my hands can never touch my face. Pick one out to find the one to embrace.'
If the 1st riddle is TIME then the face and hands should be a Clock right? I didn't bother to discuss it with the teammates and just say CLOCK. That's when I see that 2 clocks appear in front of me. The clock didn't have any numbers written but I could say that one clock showed 6:30 and the other showed 9:45.
I then again look at the riddle for the last sentence which was - 'Wait until midnight and I will open the door for you wide.'
"What's wrong with this witchland, do they want us stuck here until tomorrow? Can't we just put our fingers and make it midnight?" asked one of my teammates.
Man, you guys are really brilliant. You just solved it with your sarcasm. We don't need to really put our fingers but we can just turn the clock to make it 12. Now the point here is which clock would we want to make 12? Both clocks have possibilities. I say.
"Prince, let's choose the 6:30 one", I took the suggestion cause we have less time. The riddle said embrace so I went and turned the 6:30 to 180 degrees and it became 12:00 not I hugged it. That was when the clock in my hands vanished. Now the left side lights were switched on. It was not the regular red light. It was white led light but the same kind of spotlight. We were able to walk faster than before as the lighting was great and we walked a very long way. I could finally see that few fairies were made prisoners here. They were in a lockup. I immediately rescued them out of the bars. I saw that one particular jail had the bars taken off. It means someone was already out. I could smell that sweetness again. Cathy Baby, I shout out loud. I heard giggles from behind me and felt warmth when I felt someone hug me from behind. I immediately grab her to my front so that her back is facing me and I dig my nose into her neck and smell her scent. I felt a rush of energy into me. This is how it feels to actually have the Queen beside I thought.
I release her from my grip. "Okay guy, we first need to get all of them out of here," I say. I look at Cathy, and for instance, I could see that she was feeling weak. I am sure she has no energy left. These Witches have made their world very dangerous that no fairy can escape once there are inside, our spells don't work here until at least 7-8 members say the same spell at the same time correctly. "Let's walk forward now, we will figure out how to reach them home safely," I say with a bit of bitterness, 'cause I know my babe is suffering but there is no way out until we solve all the riddles and reach the end. I am happy that I found her. She comes to me locks her left-hand fingers into my right hand and hugs my right hand. "Thank you, I feel safe now," she says and moves closer to me. I feel happy that she feels better.
We walked to another dead end to find 3 doors, one in front of us. the second one on the right-hand side and the third one on the left-hand side. The door in front of me had a riddle written on it. Which said -
'What's worth a Million Dollars but comes free of cost.
Say it out loud to make the door break.
Be the same ones that are brave.
Let them walk to make them safe.
Turn the other nobs to see the place.
Enter the one you wish to embrace'
This is gonna reach the other's safe home. So this door that is in front of us is gonna break once we crack the riddle. It's is gonna send my Cathy safe home.
The 3rd line means that once they are gone, only me and my teammates are gonna be here.
The 4th & 5th lines say that I can check out which door I wanna choose.
Anyway, let's crack the riddle. 'What is worth a Million Dollars but comes free of cost?'
