i was bored and sitting next to the pool talking with Taylor and Belly "happy birthday y/n" i fake smiled "thanks Taylor" she smiled "aren't you gonna come into the pool" i shook my head "no i don't really want to swim today

"but i haven't seen you swim at all this summer y/n," Jeremiah said coming over "well i have swam multiple times they've just been mostly at night" they all looked at me "oka well i have an idea," Taylor said "let's play chicken" i smiled

i watched as Taylor got on Jeremiah's shoulders and belly on stevens but it took them a couple of tries "oh come on guys its not that hard to get on stevens shoulders" i said smirking "shut up yes it is his shoulders are to boney" i rolled my eyes

i turned around and saw Connie walk in with Nicole "oh you guys are playing chicken" i smirked "yeah but they're failing" Conrad smiled at me after a couple of tries Taylor beat Belly and steven i smiled "wow steven couldn't have done better" he rolled his eyes "oh shut up" he splashed me

"hey don't splash me you'll ruin connies hoodie," i said crawling backward Nicole looked at me "he lets you wear his hoodies" i looked at her "he doesn't let me" i smiled "not exactly he doesn't really have a choice with me" she smiled

"what do you mean by that" Jeremiah looked at her "it means she walks into our rooms grabs our hoodies and runs back out, it's the most annoying thing in the world" i smiled "well you guys can choose to chase me your just to lazy i said sticking my tongue out at Jeremiah

he rolled his eyes "hey Jelly, Conrad can you do me a favor and put up the volleyball net" i shook my head "sure" i stood up and pulled down Conrad's sleeves further we both walked over and grabbed it "I'm glad your feeling better love" he said quietly

i smiled "just a little i am tired tho" he sighed "same" we both walked back over to the pool we quickly put on the net and i threw them a beach ball i sat back down next to Connie and Nicole "come on y/n, please come in and play a round" i looked at Connie

"im sorry guys but no" they all continued to beg me i stood up "I'm sorry guys but i can't, im just gonna go in and i don't know get some water" i walked inside and walked into the kitchen i sighed and lifted up my sleeves i looked at them for awhile

Conrads pov

I watched as she walked inside "what does she mean she can't" I stood  "look don't worry about" I looked at Nicole"hey Nicole I'll be right back I'm just gonna go check on her"

She shook her head I sighed and walked inside she was looking at her wrists running her fingers up and down the scars I walked over to her

I grabbed her arms and slowly rolled the sleeve back down "hey you'll be able to swim by the 4th of July don't worry about them okay" she shook her head "now what do you say I make you an ice tea your favorite"

She smiled I picked her up and placed her on the counter she smiled I walked over th fridge and pulled out some ice tea I grabbed out another cup and placed it on the counter

I spun as I walked over to the cabinet I pulled out the black berry syrup I spun again and walked over to the cup I poured it in slowly lifting it up higher and higher

"Okay okay that's enough your gonna make a mess" she said grabbing it out of my hand and placing it back down I grabbed the ice tea and poured it in I than spun around grabbed a straw and put in the cup

"Vuala m'lady" I said stirring it and taking a sip "mm perfect" I handed it to her she smiled and took a sip "yeah it's pretty good"

"I wish I could kiss you right now" I smiled "I wish you could too I quickly leaned in and pecked her on the lips and than I heard "I'm so so sorry Nicole" we both looked at eachother and rolled our eyes
