It was a uniquely designed building that read "Moretti" on the top. Pulling into the building I went into the underground parking lot before locking and leaving my car.

My heels clicked with each step I took getting closer and closer to the main desk. A young, brunette slender woman with her hair up dressed in a short short pencil skirt and a polo shirt unbuttoned way too low.

Immediately as I walked in she gave a look indicating I didn't belong here. Oh kayy.. "Hi, I'm here for a job interview." I said in my white people customer service voice. Very boredly she looked at me "what position?" she asks. "Brand manager." i confirmed.

"I'm pretty sure you need a degree to equip that job." she says all snarkily. "And I'm pretty sure I have one." I raise a brow. "Okay, name?" she asked, "Alexandra Amoretto '' i said. " I'll notify the department and I'll show you the way." she says as she types up a storm before prying herself off her seat and leading me into a separate room on a higher floor.

From there she left me alone so I could be met with another lady who looked and dressed exactly like her.  Her name was Marge tompson and she was much nicer and less racist.

she interviewed me for at least twenty minutes and so far I felt like I was acing these questions. "On your resume it says you graduated from New york university with a business and marketing degree with honors?" Marge asks.

"Yes , that's correct." I smile proudly. "That's impressive Ms. Amoretto." she smiles back at me. "but it doesn't say anything about your availability here." she says, scanning my resume.

"Oh, that's because I am very adaptable but a typical 9-5 job would be very appreciated." i said. "Of course. This company strongly disbelieves in overworking." she says.

"Ms.Amoretto your resume is the best i've ever seen since this job opened up, you really are a talent." she says as she reads through my papers once more. "Thank you." i smile.

"You have the education, the experience and the talent we're looking for. I would be confident if I were you." she explains. "Thank you, that's a lot to hear." I beam.

"I will get back to you as soon as possible after I load your application into the system, I'm certain our team will want to work with you-" the desk phone interrupts her in mid sentence she excuses herself before picking up

"hello?"  while she speaks on the phone i gather my things in my bag. "of course sir, should i bring her to your office? Alrighty see you soon, sir." she puts the phone back in its place before speaking to me again.

"The CEO, Mr.Moretti has asked for you." she says slowly. "Oh?" I said partially scared. "If i'm being honest this has never happened before, he's not usually interested in applicants but if anything i'm sure he's seen your resume and wants to give you the job personally."  she tries to justify.
