Jada~
"Jada!"
I jump out of my sleep, looking around as my eyes try to adjust to the light coming from the sheer curtains.
"Jada, what the hell? It's nine am. Why is Cody's car here?"
Camille. Crap. Cody groans, "Why is she so loud?"
I rub my eyes as I hear my door open, "Oh, god. My eyes."
She shuts my door. "Why would you open the door when you know Cody's car is here?"
"Well, I figured you'd put him in the spare room."
"We're literally covered. You saw nothing."
"Close enough. I'll be in the office. Please come in clothed."
I roll my eyes. She is doing the absolute most right now. "You wouldn't put me in the spare room, right?"
"I thought about it."
He looks at me in disbelief. "What? You deserve it."
"We're still on this?" he asks, grabbing onto my hip.
"I need to get to work. I already slept in long enough."
"Your work is fifteen feet from your bed. We could go again."
"No, we can't. I need to work. Camille will kill both of us if she found out."
"And she would find out. You're a little loud."
I punch his shoulder. "Just for that, I'm going to kick you out."
He laughs as I get out of bed and hurry into my closet. I quickly put some clothes on before going to the bathroom and quickly getting ready. I look out at my bed and notice Cody's gone. Well, he's not in my room. I don't know if he's somewhere else in the house.
"Let me explain," I tell Camille as I walk into our office.
She holds her finger out at me as she's on the phone. "Yes, her and Cody. In the same bed."
"Camille! What the hell?"
"Oh, it's just Corey."
Like that makes it better, "Hang up. Say bye to your boyfriend."
She rolls her eyes, "I'll talk to you later."
"Let me explain."
"No, no. I got the full picture. You do not need to explain."
"It's not what it-"
"It's not what it looks like? You're going to pull that one with me."
"We went out last night."
"I know. Corey told me. He told Corey all about his plan and then he relayed that to me."
"If you knew, then why did you open my bedroom door?"
"Because I thought we were still being petty and you would've made him sleep in the spare room. I also gave you both plenty of time. I went to the gym with Corey this morning just in case. Then I walk into that."
"We were sleeping."
"Sleeping naked."
"You're not going to let me live this down, right?"
"You would be correct."
"I deserve that."
Cody walks into our office with two mugs. He hands me one and holds one out for Camille. "Don't suck up now. I still don't like you as much as I once did."
