Allie
It was 6 am when the alarm went off. I had about 1000 things to do today before we left. I had a splitting headache and my body was extremely sore from the events that happened before we went to sleep last night.
I grabbed my phone off the nightstand and turned the alarm off. "What time is it?" Dacre goaned. "6." I said. "In the afternoon?!" He asked, sitting up in the bed a little. "Absolutely not. We should be back in LA by then." I said. "It's too early then." He said. "I have so many things to do. If you wanna keep sleeping you can." I said. "I'll sleep for 30 minutes and then i'll get up." He said. "As long as you give me time to strip the bed before we leave." I said. "I will." He mumbled. He closed his eyes and went back to sleep.
I went to the bathroom, brushed my teeth, took a shower, and packed up all of my essential things. I placed them on the counter neatly so i'd know they were packed. At 7am, I made myself some coffee and put away the clean dishes. I folded the laundry that was left over placing the clean linens on top of the washing machine since that was apart of our leasing agreement. I then went back to the bedroom, and closed the door quietly behind me.
I began folding all my clothes in the closet and putting them in my suitcases. I sat on the floor and had everything neatly folded, before I shoved it into the suitcase praying it didn't go over the 50lbs weight limit.
When that was done it was almost 11am now. I changed into my airport outfit for the day and put my dirty clothes back in the suitcase. I did a quick look around, making sure all of my things were out of the cabinets, drawers, and closets. I heard Maya in the kitchen and went out there.
"Goodmorning starshine. How do you feel?" She asked me. "Like asscrack.com." I said. "I don't blame you. Did you just wake up?" She asked. "No i've been awake since 6." I said. "Oh honey, how'd you do it?" She asked. "I don't know honestly.." I said. I walked up next to her and put my dirty mug in the sink before hand washing it and setting it out to dry. "Bestie. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but you have a fat ass hickey on your neck." She said. "No way. Where?" I asked. "Right there. She's fresh too." She said. She touched my neck. I groaned, "Nooo." I said throwing my head back. "Put some concealer on it and you'll be fine. Where is Dacre anyways?" she asked. "Asleep still." I said. "Tell him to wake up we don't have all day." She said. "I do need to tell him. Other than stripping the bed and actually getting ready for the day i'm ready to leave." I said. "I have to clean my room and then i'll be done." She said.
"Lunch before we go?" She asked. "Of course. Let me know when you're ready." I said.
I went back into my room grabbing two of the last bottles of water out of the fridge and walking towards the bed. I placed a hand on Dacre's bare shoulder. "Jesus. Your hands cold." He mumbled. "I'm sorry. I hate to wake you but Maya wants to go to lunch so you need to get up." I said. "It's not time for lunch." He said. "It's almost 11am Dacre." I said. "Holy shit. I said I was sleeping for 30 minutes." He said. "It's okay. I managed to get almost everything done." I said. "That's good." He said finally rolling over and looking at me.
He stretched and got out of bed a few minutes later. I stripped the bed while I waited for him to get ready. I placed the dirty linens on top of the washing machine and did one last look around and made sure everything was gone. Like moving out of dorm. I rolled my suitcases out into the hallway, and waited for Maya and Dacre.
When they both came out of the bedrooms, I was propped up against the counter. "Ready?" I asked. "Yes!" They both chirped. We grabbed our luggage and said a final goodbye to the apartment we've spent so much time in. It was bittersweet but I was so ready to be back in LA it wasn't even funny.
We got in the car and headed to lunch. Nowhere fancy just a cute cafe we like to go to at least 4 times a week. We basically became regulars in here. I ordered a latte and a bagel and we sat down at a table. My phone dinged, when I sat down. I grabbed it up as I took a sip of my latte and looked at the notification.
