Allie

Dacre left a couple of days ago and today me and Joe were gonna do some errands and maybe begin to tell our friends our news. We weren't gonna make it some huge announcement and like invite them all over to tell them. We would just tell them one by one. The minute we tell one of them the news will spread like wildfire anyways.

I yawned and stretched, moving my arm over to Joe's side of the bed. I spent the night with him last night. My phone was already ringing on the nightstand and I had the feeling it was Maya.

I grabbed it off the table and looked at it. I was right. I slid my finger across it to answer and put it on speaker. "Hello." I said. "Hey, wait are you sleeping?" she asked. " I was." I said. "Makes sense as to why you wouldn't open up when I was knocking." She said. "Actually i'm not even there." I said. "Where are you?" She asked. "Where do you think? Joe's." I said. "Oh shit! You guys made up?" She asked. "Yes. Why are you calling so early?" Joe asked annoyed at the fact we were being interrogated on the phone at 9am. "Geez sorry, anyways that's good news. So anyways there's a huge party tonight and I got us all invited." She said. "Huge party? that's why you're calling at 9am." Joe said. "Yes. You have all day to prepare." She said. "Okay fine we'll be there." I said. "I'll text you details." She said. "Okay." I said. "Do you wanna get lunch later?" She said. "Sure. What time?" I asked. "I'll text you about that too." She said. She hung up shortly after that, and I rolled over to face Joe.

"I think she needs a lesson on time management." I said. "I second that." He said. I kissed his forehead. "Goodmorning." I said. "Goodmorning." He said back. His eyes were closed and I knew in a second he'd be back asleep again. I went to the bathroom and took my toothbrush out of the drawer. I brushed my teeth and looked at myself in the mirror. My hickey was fading nicely. Thank god. Hopefully when word gets out about us too the hickey won't be there for me to have to answer about that as well. "I'm gonna go back to my room and change. I'll come back when I'm ready and we can leave okay?" I said. "Okay." He mumbled into the pillow. I laughed and let myself out the front door.

On the way back to my apartment I was immediately wondering why this party tonight was some huge ordeal. It didn't really make sense to me as to why she needed to call, she never did that.

I made it back to my apartment and showered immediately. Nothing better than a morning shower to start your day. After that I started on my makeup and my hair. I was going for something more natural and casual today.

My phone started ringing on the counter and I answered it when I saw it was Joe. "Hello sir." I said. "Hi, i'm on the way up." He said. "Okay the doors unlocked, just come in." I said. "Ok bye." He said. I giggled at the small conversation, "Bye!" I said.

He hung up while I finished my mascara and went to the closet for an outfit. I through on a knit sweater some corduroy pants and converse and grabbed some sunglasses. I slid them on my head as I turned off the closet light. The front door opened and I peaked around the corner to make sure it was who it was supposed to be. I smiled at him and then disappeared back into my room.

He had on his normal attire of a t shirt, jeans and some kind of vans. His basic look, but I loved it. "Do you know where we're going?" He asked. "Yeah Maya sent me the address." I said.

We hopped in the car and headed to town to run our errands before lunch. First stop was the grocery store. I needed a few things but nothing that would spoil in the car, and then we did some shopping, like always. "You have like 5 minutes before we have to leave." Joe said from outside the dressing room. "Okay i'm hurrying." I said. I put my clothes back on and busted out the door, arms full of the things I was still deciding on. I made my final selections as we walked to the counter.
