"Now this is hilarious," Finley laughed as soon as she got a hold of the photo strip that held her and Malfoy's pictures, all of which were epic fails considering the blond brat fussed at how closed the space was. "Who knew your eyes could go that wide," she pointed out at the third picture on the strip.
"You told me to stare at it," Draco scoffed, glancing away from the picture, his cheeks turning pink at how odd he looked on the strip.
"I told you to look, not stare," Finley snickered, ripping the pictures into 3 parts. "Pick which ones you want," she tells him, holding out the images as if she wanted him to pick a card.
"Why would I want that?"
"It's a souvenir," she replied, "Come on, can't that sad bitter shit ass personality of yours even allow you to hold on to at least some memorabilia?"
"I hold on to blackmails and grudges," he huffed, taking one image without care, looking at it. It was the last two pictures they took, one where he stared at her unamused while Finley gave up a cunning grin, and the other was of them bursting out into laughter. He would be lying if he said that this was the best looking image he's seen among the batch they took. "Huh, I don't look half bad on this one," he points out, showing Finley what he took.
"Shut up," Finley puffed her cheeks, she wanted those pictures, now she was going to settle on the first two, tucking the pictures in her purse before looking around. "Speaking of which, where are Heart and Sebastian?"
"Didn't they go get street theater tickets?" Draco reminds her, looking around as well yet was met with unfamiliar faces. "Want to ditch them?" He found himself asking her, turning to her who seemed slightly skeptical with what she heard.
"What?"
"What are you suggesting mister Malfoy?" She playfully raises her brow at him, Draco was unsure of what she was on but he certainly didn't imply that.
"Come on," he rolled his eyes, shoving his hands in his coat pockets walking towards the crowded streets. Though it wasn't as lively as it was earlier in the day, everything else died down so slightly that the people had decent space to walk around on. Realizing how the sky was turning into this slight orange color, they've been gone for most of the day now, unfortunately they were separated from their companions, wherever the two might be.
"We can sit by that bench over there," Finley pointed at the seats near a fountain. As cliché as it may have looked, the view of it made it seem like it was straight out of a story book. Settling in comfortable silence as they walked the down the street, not even a bit worried for their friends because one, Theo slyly slipped a couple notes in Finley's purse to insure that Draco doesn't bother him and Blaise, and two, the cousins seem to be having a blast at the street theater... wherever that may be.
"Have you thought about the next task yet?" she finally asks Draco. Considering how they have two whole months before the second task, it would be utterly stupid to not even attempt to find out what death advocating task they were going to try next. "A key and a clue about ghosts is not really helpful."
Draco shrugs. "I'm not too shocked with the unhelpful clue, our parents did send howlers."
"Yeah, with Mister Malfoy going all PTA mum on him," Finley snorts remembering the morning after she was released from the hospital wing, three envelopes made their way to the teacher's table and caused the minister a scare to last him a week or two. The three of them enjoyed the look on the man's face of course, after all they almost drowned.
Her thoughts wandered back to the key and clue she received, for sure it was going to be a door or a chest, it didn't take a genius to figure out what the keys opened. What didn't make sense was the clue, 'Face the Ghosts.'
