Waking up that morning proved to be one of the most difficult tasks that Finley had to do, with her body unwilling to move though she genuinely needed to. It took her an hour at most to get herself off the bed, with necessities in hand along with a towel. She was reluctant for a bath, but she also knew that it was the only thing to kick start her day properly. The bath car was just as large as the dormitory one, enchanted to have stalls for showers alone. There weren't any tubs and whatnot, the down side to it was that it never had warm water which in Finley's case was a good thing, in theory at least.

After a few swear words and curses for the cold water later, Finley came out of the shower stall, hair wrapped in a towel while she had a bathrobe on. Since some people in the train were already out to do whatever, either studying for the NEWTs or going down to the village. Finley was the a relatively empty train by the time she came back in the dormitory car, putting on clothes she prepared the night before. A flowing pastel pink dress and a soft cardigan, white shoes with a white purse to store her money and her wand. She couldn't be bothered to do her hair, she normally had someone tie it for her and so she settles for a half ponytail, letting her natural curls fall on her back.

"You look nice," a voice spoke, she looked up to see Blaise by the entrance leaning against the doorway. "Going down to the village I assume?"

"Yeah," she replied turning to her mirror to check if there was anything out of place, noting her hair if it wasn't tied right. "There's a festival, Heart asked us to come."

"I was heading of there myself with Theo, are you going to ride with us?" He asked her, walking in and taking off the half ponytail that Finley tried her best to fix. "I spent an hour trying to fix that you know," she pouted.

"Well, it was asymmetrical and annoying the perfectionist in me," he laughs, braiding her hair towards the back, "do you have a ribbon Finney bear?"

"Yeah," she replied, handing him a thin pale pink one. "How are you and Theodore?" She asked him, feeling the gentle tugs of her hair that seemed so therapeutic to her.

"We're okay," Blaise replied in a tone. Finley looked at the mirror in front of her, seeing her friend's face sport a small smile on his lips. "Seems more than okay to me," she teases him.

"Theo is, well, Theo. I don't know what else you want me to say."

"I found out not too long ago that you dated him, I have a right to know what kind of person Theodore Quincy Nott is."

"How do you know about his middle name?" Blaise narrowed his eyes at her suspiciously, seeing Finley get confused for one second and looked at him again through the mirror.

"His actual middle name is Quincy?"

"Well no, his mother calls him that but-"

"Too bad, he looks like a Quincy," Finley shrugged before giggling, the enlightened look on Blaise's face showed how he somewhat understood that it was only an assumption.

"For a second there I thought you knew something about him that I didn't," Blaise sighed, tying Finley's hair with the ribbon that was braided with her hair.

"Please, how can I know my best friend's boyfriend better than my best friend does?" Finley rolls her eyes, moving the mirror to the side to get a look at her hair with awe. "Since when did you learn how to braid hair?" She raised a brow at him as soon as he was done, feeling for the braid and imagining it to be intricate and nice.

"I've had a lot of free time in my hands," he shrugged, helping her get off her bed, handing her her purse. "Do you want to stop at the bar car for some coffee before we leave?"
