once the police arrived they brought a doctor with them, they questioned angela to make sure she was still conscious, "can you tell me your name?" the police officer asked as angela was no longer on the floor and lily was holding a cloth on her cut.
"um.. angela" she sobbed.
"angela." the doctor repeated and nodded his head, "do you know where you are, angela?"
angela replied "um.. rink, rink-o-mania, i think?"
"rink-o-mania. very good" the doctor reassured. "now where does it hurt, sweetie?"
after a moment or two the blonde replied with "my head," she sobbed.
the doctor tilted his head "your head hurts?"
"and my nose." angela whimpered. she took a deep breath and complained "i can't breathe." once angela said that, lily still kept the cloth on her cut but looked up at jane, who was staring at the injured girl. her leg was bouncing and she was crying a little but not really as her face was so moody.
"just try to take some deep breaths." the doctor replied almost instantly. "breathe slow for me, okay?" as angela did that he nodded and said "that's it. i know it's a lot of blood, but you're going to be okay." he assured.
"i don't think so." she sobbed.
lily leaned down so angela could see her face, "he promises, okay?"
he nodded. "just need you to answer a few more questions, all right?"
"okay." she sniffled as lily went back up so she was standing straight.
as the doctor asked angela a few more questions, lily had to keep swapping clothes every couple of minutes as angela was loosing a lot of blood, meanwhile, jane and wills big brother and his friend took the trio back to their home.
jake grabbed lilys shoulder as she was walking to the ambulance with angela and smirked, "i bet you're glad i did that now." lily glared at him with sore eyes. glad? she thought, he thinks i'm glad?
lily took a deep breath and sighed, "no. jake i'm not, because if you never done that angela wouldn't be going to the hospital right now." and walked off. jakes smile faded into a frown of realisation, but, shook it off anyway and went home.
