Chapter 3

  So that guy I was talking with was a billionaire?! That probably explains why he returned the money... he has plenty of it. But seriously? They're calling me a gold digger? I literally just met the guy! We didn't even introduce each other...

I feel like slamming my keyboard. Honestly, that really pissed me off. I have my rights, y'know. Can't just go and write about me using my name, and post it for millions to see! Whatever.

My best friend/co-worker Nya reminds me of what just went down "Yo, Winny, did you see the newest gossip? They were talking about you and some other guy... why didn't you tell me you were secretly seeing a billionaire! I'm your best friend, and you can tell me anything, y'know."

My face turns red. "N-no! You've got it all wrong! See, I was just going down to Starblux to get Ms. Yin's order and I spilled it all over him so then I tried to clean it but I guess I embarrassed him so he backed away-"

A loud approaching noise interrupts me. Ms. Yin, stomping towards me with her angry mood shouts, "So, you've been using my son for money haven't you! I can't believe I ever hired you! You're fi-"

"StOp!!" Nya interrupts Yin. "She wasn't using, or seducing your son! She was simply fulfilling the task you gave her, getting you coffee. It's just by coincidence that she bumped into your son while coming out of Starblux and spilling your order all over him. And obviously, as kind as she is, she was going to clean it up for him! Wouldn't you?"

Ms. Yin looks at Nya in a shocked face then looks at me, confused. "Wait, so, she wasn't trying to seduce my son..?"

No duh. I don't say that but I do look at my boss with a meh face and shake my head, no. 

"I'm still so confused... Kai is your son?! Why didn't anyone tell me this? And no! I didn't even know who Kai is until I read that article!" I exclaim.

Somebody knocks on my office door. Just as I'm about to reach out to open it, it swings open. 

Who's this strange yet, familiar figure?
