Chapter 8

I notice Nya walking up to me. "Oh, so you've seen the painting of Kai, yeah it's one of my greatest masterpieces if you don't mind my bragging~. But anyways, you're probably wondering why it's there in the first place. Well, other than Kai being the CEO of a hospital, he's also a model, and I was asked to paint him instead of using photography."

I sigh with relief. I thought she was a spooky stalker for a second. "Well, I can see why they chose you! Your painting is so realistic! It's great!"

"Thanks girl, but c'mon, we should eat!"

"Right, let me just wash my hands, hehe."

I wash my hands and walk to the table. Mmmm~ BEEF DUMPLINGSSS. To be honest, at this point I'll eat anything.... "So, Nya, did you make these from scratch?" I say, while munching on the dumplings, which are scrumptious~!"

"No of course I didn't, I ordered them in, I mean, have you ever even tried my homemade cooking? It's so gross!"

I look at Nya in a confused way, "mmm.. no I don't think I have."

That gives me an idea, "hey! How would you like to cook for me? Or maybe I can teach you to cook? O- or we can even have a contest!"

"Uhhhmm, I dunno, we might be up all night long, plus, like I said, my cooking is gross!"

I put some thought into what she says. "Oh alright, but when morning comes, you and I will do whatever I want us to do, you understand?"

"Yes ma'am!" Nya teases me and salutes.

Nya falls asleep, I wake up to use the bathroom and so do I. I grab a robe, and head out to the balcony... what a beautiful sight. I guess I don't get to see this everyday. I sit down on the hammock Nya has in her balcony, and fall asleep. Everything is so peaceful... crickets chirping, leaves rustling, wind blowing, stars twinkling, how could I not fall asleep??

~8 hours later~

"Winny! Winny! Wake up!!!"

'What is that noise calling my name?'

"Winny wake up!"

I open my eyes slightly, to see Nya looking at me with worry. "Yo, why do you look so worried? Whats going on?"

Nya mutters and stutters, and then points to my ears and nose. What?? I place my hand on my ear and my nose. Why does it feel wet..? I slowly bring my hand to somewhere I can see.. oh.

"Nya, I'm just bleeding! You don't need to worried about blood, whats the big deal?" I start laughing at her, and just before I can tease her more, I feel somethings wrong.

"Hey, Nya, can you please get me a glass of water..? I feel woozy.."

"Y-yeah sure.. are you sure you're okay? I'll bring my med-kit and some hot towels as well, just incase..."

I laugh, and start wiping the blood off, but instead it just smudges all over my face. I walk back inside the house, onto a chair. My body.. it feels like..-

*THUMP*
