Chapter 11

I look at Nya, then look at the time. "Nya, maybe not today. I'm really tired and my head keeps throbbing with pain after the surgery and all. But I'll take a raincheck?"

Nya sniffs, "oh okay, but at least let me drive you home?"

"Lol, alright. But only if you promise that you will still treat me normally after all this." I imply, with a smile.

While on the drive home, Nya doesn't say anything, neither do I. I look at the window, trying to calm my car sickness. I don't puke when I get carsick, just have insane headaches. To be honest, I'm not sure whether its just my brain cancer, or if I'm actually carsick.

"Thanks for the ride, Nya. I appreciate it." Nya smiles at me.

I walk inside and close the door. I watch as Nya drives away through my window, and then I slide down the wall and scream! I cry, "What the hell is going on here?" A familiar figure pops out behind a door with a.. pan?!

"Tianyu?! Wh-what?! How did you get here? I thought you were in Canada with your wife and kids? Since when did you get here?!" I leap out of my stance and throw my arms around him.

"You jerk you have no idea how much I've missed you, how much I've needed you..." I start tearing up again.. god what is wrong with me! Why am I always crying so much nowadays...

"Hey sis? Whats wrong?? Your friend Nya called me and told me to come over and stay for like.. a year? Is something wrong??"

"Actually Tianyu.." I pause, "I have Olfactory Neuroblastoma brain cancer... I've taken the surgery, but I'm going to die in a year. Thats probably why Nya called you to come over. I need you, brother."

"Haha, very funny, I know you don't have cancer- right?.."

A moment of silence fell upon us. "I'm sorry Tianyu.. but don't worry, I will always love you with all my heart, lil bro."

Tianyu holds me tightly, "it's okay... that just means god wants you to be with him. It'll be okay.... I'll just cherish what little time I have left with you.." Tianyu says, while sobbing.

I get up, letting go of Tianyu's grasp. "Don't be so dramatic, you're going to make me cry too!! Is that what you want?"

Tianyu shakes his head, 'no'.

Somebody rings the doorbell

Who could that be?

I walk over and open the door, and it's no other than Kai. "Hey.. Kai, what are you doing here on such short notice? Is something wrong??"

Kai looks at me with teary eyes and red cheeks and mumbles, "no, no, nothing is wrong. I just came over to check up on you and see if everything is okay. Just so you know, this will be a pretty common thing that I'm going to do. For your health, and for my nerves. I get kind of nervous, and seeing you.. up and out makes me feel calmed. I hope you don't mind." Kai looks at me with teary eyes and red cheeks.

I blush a little and then cover my face and turn around "y-yeah... thanks, c-come in!"

Tianyu stands up and wipes his eyes, "who's this, sis?.."

"Oh, this is my future husband👀"

Kai and Tianyu look at me with concern, and Kai turns red. 

'Ahhhhhh... WHAT THE HeCkKkk..... did I SERIOUSLY just say that OUT LOUD?!'
