Chapter 12

Tianyu bursts out with laughter, instead of defending me. "I.. uh.. sorry, I was just joking.. ha-ha... this is actually my doctor, Kai, and also a good friend of mine. I'm very lucky he came into my life."

Kai blushes, "I'm happy to be here," he says with a chuckle. 

Why did my heart just flutter... why was that so cute?! Tianyu walks up to Kai and looks him from top to bottom. It looks hilarious because he's like.. a foot shorter then Kai so it looks kinda funny. 

"Hmm... seems as though my sis here has a thing going for you.. 'Kai'  perhaps I'll consider letting you be with her. But you must do one thing first.

"What?"

~7 minutes later~

"Ugh.. too.. spicy... why.. ask you.. to... compete...." Tianyu says, while sweating, burning, and panting.

Kai is panting, and he removes his coat. "Ugh.. why did you make us eat... the spicy ghost pepper... ramen......"

Tianyu looks at Kai, and then looks at the glass of milk that was poured. Apparently if Kai finishes the whole bowl of ramen he wins Tianyu's approval... I turn red. Kai would really do that for me...?

"Okay, Tianyu, Kai, thats enough. Kai is my friend and doctor, I don't think he wants me in that way.-"

Tianyu spurts out the glass of milk he was drinking. "Sure sis, whatever you say. But I can tell when a man is in love."

I turn red.. "I-in love..?!"

I turn my face towards Kai, and see his whole facial expression changes. From sweating to turning red out of fluster. I let out a soft, awkward chuckle and backed away, I went into my room and called Kai.

"Hey Kai, could you come into my room for a sec? I want to sort things out for a sec."

"Uh.. yeah sure! Gimme a sec though, my mouth is on fire due to the ghost pepper ramen."

I walk around my room, back and fourth, biting my nails, Kai likes me? I hear a knock on the door, "come in!"

Kai slowly walk into my room and theres an awkward silence for 3 minutes. I sit down on my bed, and speak. 

"Kai.. is it true,.. what my brother Tianyu says?"

"Yes it is, I didn't want it to turn out this way. but your brother is quite sharp! I am madly in love with you, Winny. I don't know how, but I have loved you ever since the coffee-accident. I'm attracted to your looks, clumsiness, the way you laugh, the way you smile, I love every part about you. I've met many girls, but none of them made me feel the way you make me feel."

"...Kai,.."

Kai looks down on the floor with a sad look on his face, as if I'm about to reject him. 

"Kai.. I.. I like you too..."

I take a step towards Kai and I hold his hands. "I've never felt this way before, around anyone.. even while I was going through my bad hormone years!-"

Kai lets out soft giggle.

"Well then Winny, will you-"

I stop Kai right there. I step up on my toes and lean in closer to his face, feeling his warm breath brush my cheeks, I kiss him.

                                                                                     -Kai POV- 

"Well then Winny, will you-"

I'm suddenly cut off, by Winny's lips on mine. I close my eyes, confused, but happy <3. I break apart our lips and I hug Winny.

"So then- you already knew what I was going to ask you.. and based on your reaction, I'm assuming the answer is.. yes?"

"Of course, yes I'll be your girlfriend!"

-Winny POV-

I break apart our hug and see that the door is WIDE open, and Tianyu standing there with an 'I told you so' face.

"I thought you two were doing something else in there, word of advice sis, next time call him to the kitchen or something." Tianyu smirks.

"Ah- Tianyu you dirty minded beluga! Have some shame-." I look at Kai who's hand is covering his mouth, trying to cover up his blushing. 

"Oh god this is so embarrassing," I think to myself.

Just when I'm about to say something to Kai, a sudden sharp painful sensation is going on in the back of my head. A loud ringing strikes my ears. My world becomes lonely and dark, again.
