Chapter 18

"Dakota Lee, why are you answering Luna's phone?" Lilly asked confused.

"She's um....a little busy at the moment, Aunt Lilly," Kota explained. "Owen is helping her calm down."

"I'm on my way," Lilly said hanging up.

"Um," Kota cleared his throat, "Aunt Lilly is on her way."

"There we go, Miss Teacher," Sean said as he gently picked her up and carried her over to the couch. "Just keep listening to my heartbeat," he sat down slowly and held her ear against his chest.

"How do you know Aunt Lilly?" Kota asked once she managed to calm down.

"She's my patient," Lilly said as she walked into the house. "I'm going to talk to her in the library. Liam, get her for me."

"Come on," Liam said as he helped her stand then put a protective arm around her shoulders so she could lean against him as they walked.

"How do you know Luna?" Harry asked the group.

"She's Skye's teacher," Owen explained.

"She protected her from Sheila when she showed up at the school," Axel nodded.

"When did Sheila show up at the school?" Jack asked shocked.

"How come we are just now hearing about this?" Henry asked then crossing his arms over his chest.

"We were going to tell you over family dinner?" Luke asked nervously.

"Sure we were," Harry said upset when he walked back into the room.

"Uh oh," Gabe mumbled looking down at his hands.

"Start talking," Henry said glaring at them. "Now."

Owen took a deep breath, slowly let it out while adjusting his tie then started telling them everything.

Two hours later Lilly came into the living room. "She is resting, leave her alone. She will come out when she is ready."

"Yes, Aunt Lily," the team said in unison.

"Is there a reason you didn't tell me you know Skye's teacher?" She asked crossing her arms over her chest and shifted her weight to her left side. "And where is Skye?"

"Aunty Lilly!" Skye squealed in excitement as she came rushing down the stairs with Max on her heels.

"There's our princess!" Jack beamed as he scooped her up and hugged tightly.

"What doing here?" Skye asked as Lilly took her from Jack and hugged her.

"I came to talk to Miss Luna for a little bit," Lilly smiled softly. "She's resting now."

"She cry?" Skye asked and Lilly nodded.

"She did but she's okay now," Lilly explained. "Night's with her."

"I maked pressy hep feel bebber," Skye smiled softly.

"That is an excellent idea," Lilly smiled. "She will love that when she comes out of the library."

"Come hep," Skye beamed.

"I can't," Lilly shook her head, "I need to go home and make these guys some dinner before they start complaining that I'm starving them to death."

Skye burst out laughing, "You so silly. You no took, Uncley Harry took no you."

"Very true," Harry chuckled, "so I must get Aunty Lilly home so I can start cooking."

"Bye bye, wub you," Skye hugged everyone.

"Leave her alone," Lilly pointed her fingers at the team. "If she skips dinner it will be okay, just give her time, I mean it."

"Yes Aunt Lilly," they nodded even though North grumbled about it.

Luna briefly woke as she felt herself being moved but the scent of Irish Spring surrounded her and she drifted back to sleep. The next time she woke to the covers around her being moved.

"Miss Luna, you go to stoll wif me today?"

Luna opened her eyes to find Skye getting into the bed she was laying in. "Skye?" She asked confused as she sat up and rubbed her eyes.

"There you are," Owen said as he came into the room. "I told you to leave Miss Luna alone and let her sleep, Skye. Come on, breakfast is ready."

"Miss Luna wakey Daddy," Skye smiled as she sat beside her. "I eat with her."

"I'm sorry," he said walking over to her. "We wanted you to sleep as much as you need to."

"What time is it?" she yawned and covered her mouth. "Sorry."

"It's six in the morning," Owen said softly.

"Oh no, I'm late!" She gasped as she threw the covers off her lap. "I'm sorry, I have to go."

"Wait," he said gently grabbing her hand, stopping her from rushing to the bathroom. "Your sub is already there, I called yesterday after Aunt Lilly said you will need plenty of rest. Please, get back in bed and try to relax. Please?"

"I'm fine," she shook her head. "If I can't work, then—" Her phone started ringing so she grabbed it, "Hello? Yes, this is Miss Fox. Oh, okay, yes I can meet you there. Thank you." She hung up and cleared her throat, "Excuse me, I need to leave Mr. Blackbourne, Officer Laweson wants to meet me at my house and discuss something, I need to go home."

"I say home Daddy," Skye said crossing her arms over her chest and pouted.

Luna smiled, "Go to school Princess Skye, remember we discussed how important education is. You can come see me at my house after school, okay?"

"Fine," She huffed and got out of bed, "Me no like but otay."
