"I cannot believe those guys!" Vi shouted.
"It's so typical of them..." Mothiva muttered under her breath. "The stupid Termite Kingdom is my least favorite place to perform anyway! It's so gross and smoggy. Eugh."
"I mean, I can understand why they'd react this way," said Kabbu.
"Kabbu, can you please stop being a leader and bitch with us for like, one second?"
"No, no," said Kabbu. "I get that too. I'm just as mad about it."
The team was standing outside the large metal door that led into the Termite Kingdom. They were surrounded by nothing but thick, white fog, and the sound of hollow wind. The Sparky Boys had tried to enter the kingdom to talk about potential Giant-defeating strategies. However, the Termites didn't want anything to do with it at all. They never even answered the door; they seemed to be in complete lockdown.
"Fucking cowards!" Vi shouted at the door. "Now what are we going to do?"
"Well, we still have the wasps," Leif said from a distance. He was standing on the edge of the cliff, staring out into the fog.
"I was hoping we weren't going to have to deal with them," grumbled Vi. "But I guess..." she turned back to the door..."Because they're being a bunch of DIPSHITS...we'll have to."
"They're just scared," said Kabbu. "There's no use lurking around here. Let's go ahead and head to the Far Grasslands."
"Do we know if that place has been destroyed yet?" asked Leif.
"I hate that that's a question we have to ask now," muttered Mothiva.
"I'm pretty sure they're alright," said Kabbu. "They live in the middle of nowhere. I don't know how the Giant would find them anyway."
"We may as wells start moving in that direction," Vi said. "Let's go."
And so they did. They hiked all the way through the Ant Kingdom tunnels. When they got to the main hub, they turned and immediately started walking down the tunnel that led to the Far Grasslands.
"Does anyone even remember how to get to the Wasp Kingdom from here?" asked Vi. "We haven't gone in forever."
"I should be able to get us there," said Kabbu. "I can't promise it, though."
The Sparky Boys kept walking down the tunnel, and after a few minutes, they saw a light coming from the end of the tunnel. When they jumped out of the hole, they were met with the musty smell of the cave. There was no guard to be seen.
"Er...where's the guard who usually stands here?" asked Mothiva.
"This is already fucked up," said Vi.
"Hey, hey," said Kabbu. "Don't immediately assume the worst. He might just be working somewhere else."
"Yeah," agreed Leif. "There's a lot of stuff going on. Standing next to a hole isn't exactly the most important job."
"Whatever." Mothiva brushed it off and turned to the largest hole in the cave. "This is the way, right? I've only been here a few times on tour."
"I believe so," answered Kabbu. He and the rest of the crew stepped out and looked around at the trees. They all groaned and shaded their eyes from the burning sun. They had all gotten used to the dark, musty tunnels.
"Wasn't there someone who lived around here?" asked Vi. "I think they lived in the nearby village."
"They probably didn't want to be standing around, given what's going on," said Kabbu. "Let's keep going."
