Zenitsu was packing his bags and ready to leave for the airport. He was excited and nervous to go back to Japan... it's been 5 years since he last saw his best friends, and while he did make awesome friends in Australia.
They weren't like his best friends.
His parents had to stay in Australia, but they said he could stay in Japan with his grandfather and his cousin Kaigaku.
The flight was very long and he seriously felt like he was going to vomit halfway into the plane.
But thankfully the plane landed and he made a beeline to get some food to rid himself of the feeling.
He ate some Katsudon and he immediately realised how much he missed Japan.
He saw his grandfather waiting for him by the gate and rushed to hug him, although he was probably bending seeing he was way taller than his grandfather.
He still had to go to high school the next day and he was thinking if Tanjiro and Nezuko would be there at the new school.
But he decided not to hope on it, would they even still be his friends, he left them without any warning in the first place.
So in the end he decided that he would try to avoid them as much as possible. and he knew that it wasn't the bets course of action, but he had no other choice.
That day he spent going around the town with his gramps and meeting some people.
He soon realised that Kaigaku had changed from the big bully he was, and was a police officer now.
It was really fun to go around Japan once again, and even though he sometimes missed Australia, being back in his home country was better.
Soon evening hit quickly and Zenitsu had to sleep so that he could get into school in time, he was excited and nervous at the same time to go there...

Tanjiro POV:
Me and Nezuko were walking down the street with Inosuke and Kanao, because Aoi was already in school we were making our way there together.
Nezuko smiles and laughs at something Inosuke says and I can't help but notice that her smile wasn't like how it usually was and I remember when Zenitsu was here.
Our old friend had left us years ago and we had no way to contact him in Australia because the time zones are different.
She used to be so happy around him and remembering the times we had with him made our hearts burn.
I smiled at Nezuko and we stepped into the gates of our school.
Aoi greeted us with a smile and she asked if anything happened with Inosuke, because a few weeks ago he got into an accident but had miraculously recovered quickly.
We reassure her that nothing happened, and she nodded approvingly.
I notice everyone around us whispering and squealing and I get really confused.
"Hey Aoi do you know why everyone is whispering and screaming?" I ask her.
She nods quickly and tells us," So basically what happened is that there is a rumour that an Australian exchange student is coming back here to stay for the rest of high school,"
"Back here?" Kanao asks.
"Apparently he came here before and then left and he's coming back again, only a few girls saw him but they're saying he's really hot," she says looking at us.
"Oh.... maybe we can show him around the school? That's our job after all..." Nezuko said offering an idea.
We all immediately agreed, because we wanted to meet this guy and make him our new friend so he won't be lonely.
We go to the office and ask where he would be...
The lady answered that he went into the school grounds. We thank her and make a run for the grounds.
For some reason I felt like I needed to know who this new student was.
As we got there, all of us gasped in shock as we saw the familiar black hair and amber eyes.
