You know what I said about Kai and Morro getting out of here?

Yeah about that...welp- looks like that isn't happening this chapter:o

But that's okay- cuz I think the other Ninja sometimes steal the spotlight with uneccessary dialogue. Now, since they're in this Underground World- they get time for themselves.

"State. Your names.", the man on the throne said, curtly.

"Morro and this is Fireworm", I said, trying my best to maintain a poker face.
"HEY!", Kai punched me.

"What are your real names?", he murmured deeply, sipping wine. Oh, how I miss drinking wine from Ghost Town.
"Look fool, he is Morro- and I am Kai", Kai said daringly.
The man's pale skull split into a smile.
"I like this one", he said.

The man was young with no beard though it would've fit perfectly on his stupid, pale face that was scattered with white freckles.
He had sparkling blue eyes and curly white hair streaked with icy blue.

"Sorry- he's taken", I said threateningly, grabbing Kai's hand.
"Wha- what?! By you?!", Kai said, looking like a toad with bulging eyes.
"No no no no- did Skylar just fly out of existence?", I smirked.
"How- how do you- WAIT. I am not with Skylar", Kai pulled away from my grasp and folded his arms.

I rubbed my hands in glee and smirked, "That means I still have a chance with you".
"That's where you're wrong-"
"All right- I've seen enough! Throw them into the Pit of Fire", the Ice King (I have to call him something) roared.

I expected the tribe to follow and cheer with evil pleasure and chant and clank glasses of beer, but instead a scrawny little boy came up to the King and said awkwardly:

"Apollo, it's the Ring of Fire, not the Pit of Fire", the boy said.
Unlike others, he had a much warmer skin tone- like Kai. He looked like he was made out of clay and his hair was a silvery white.

Apollo- the King- pulled the boy on his lap and then said:
"Morris and and Kate-"
"MORRO AND KAI!", I screamed. Kai grabbed hold of my hand- man that was a smooth move- it took me five seconds to realize where my hand went.

Fool, you barely know where your hands are.

"Yes yes whatever- this is Aspen. Say hi, Aspen", Apollo smiled.
Aspen flushed red and looked at us with his blank, white eyes filled with confusion. Nonetheless, he mumbled a very unclear, "Hi".

I folded my arms and grimace, "So what? Do we have to duel that scrawny boy?", I smirked.
Kai nudged me.
"Scrawny?", Aspen said, raising his eyebrows then curling his lips into a cat-like smile.
Apollo too, looked at us as if we had made a grave mistake.

"I was going to make this fun, by watching two trespassers get tormented by my dearest sister Eifa 2.0, whom you've already met, I presume", Apollo said, tapping his chin thoughtfully.
Me and Kai whirled around to see Eifa rolling her eyes- she didn't seem to be enjoying this.
"...But as you've so daringly challenged my boy Aspen- your wish is my command", Apollo smiled ominously.

"I have a bad feeling about this Morro", Kai whispered to me.
I looked into his scared, hazel eyes and squeezed his shoulder- "Don't be, you're a Ninja, idiot", I smiled- I hope that came across to Kai as a genuine one.

"But you're not...", Kai murmured, a strange worry crossing his eyes.
I opened my mouth to say something- to say that everything's fine and we'll get back to Ninjago, together- but, nothing came out.
"Look fool- I was nearly about to unleash a giant Pre-eminent to curse the 16 realms a few months ago- and now, you doubt me in the middle of a duel with a boy that looks like a worm, just because I am not a Ninja?!", I hissed.

"Uhh...when you put it like that- that's a lot more reassuring", Kai said, taking hold of my hand again. An unfamiliar warmth rushed through the veins in my palm.
"Glad it helps", I smirked, gripping his hand.

"If you're done with your romcom stuff- can we get on with this?", Apollo yawned.
"Romcom? Says the one with a little boy sitting on their lap", Kai smirked.
"Told you this one was filled with sass", Aspen said to Apollo.

"They're both sass- made for each other", Apollo remarked.
"HEY! WE HEARD THAT!", I yelled.
"Wait! I was looking forward to fighting these two! 2 on 1- that's unfair of you brother- let me and Aspen fight", Eifa said, squaring her shoulders.

"Better watch that mouth of yours, missy- I can take a hundred of these two gits all just with my two bare fists", Aspen said, smiling charmingly.
Eifa opened her mouth to aruge but Apollo interrupted and said, "Have it your way, dear sister".
Aspen turned around and pouted.
"Don't be like that Aspen", Apollo murmured, ruffling the boy's messy hair.
"Whatever", Aspen mumbled, and the brat smiled alluringly once again tilting his head at an angle, this time at me- but I saw through the mask.

A little devil, indeed.

"You know about that bad feeling impression you got from that little worm, Kai?", I twitched.
"Yeah?", Kai looked at me worryingly.
"I think now might be the time to...RUN!!!!!!", I yelled and me and Kai both broke into a wild, sprint.

My legs were literally flying off the ground (I'm a wind elemental- what'd you expect?) and Kai's running left a trail of fire- you get the idea of how fast we both could sprint.

A dozen or so guards were in hot pursuit behind us, shooting arrows made of ice. Me and Kai had to dodge many times- the results were awkward with him crashing into me and me having to hurl him off to fend my own life.

Sorry, Kai. I like you- but not so much that I'll risk my life for it.

Sorry it's so short- but I really want to keep you guys updates frequently and you know I suck at that:S

So that's why I decided to do shorter, more frequent chapters and then increase the length.
Have a great day/ night/ afternoon!
