"Hey" he pressed his lips into a thin line failing to act excited.

They embraced in a quick hug, her hands slowly trailed down his back ending at the hem of his shirt as she whispered something in his ear. I couldn't help but laugh, as mush as I tried holding it in I just had to.

Her head shot over towards me "Oh look, it's Delilah" she forced a fake smile.

"It's nice to see you too Chelsea" I sighed, I don't know why we always acted as if we didn't hate each other. As if we were trying to pretend that nothing happend only months ago.

She hummed in response, eyes now fixed on Calum.

"You look" I paused examining the complete makeover "different".

"In a good way" I quickly added after getting an annoyed look from Calum.

"Oh you like?" She smirked posing for what seemed like an invisible camera. "These babies costs $12,000" she squeezed the obvious boob job.

"Maybe that's something you should look into" She sized me, immediately making me feel insecure about myself like always. I swear putting me down was like a hobby for her.

"So what are you guys doing here, at Wal-Mart that is" she looked around as if disgusted.

"We just needed to go somewhere" Calum shrugged digging his hands into his front pockets.

"Oh" she nodded "I know, why don't you come to my house!" She grabbed his arm giving it a playful squeeze.

"I don't know, we should be getting home soon anyways" he shook his head.

"Nonsense" she laughed throwing her head back "You're coming with me, we're going to have some fun" she said in a hushed seductive tone.

She looked over at me as Calum began to speak "I only have space for one".

I rested my weight on my hip, Calum wouldn't leave me here. He wouldn't go to her house and just leave me all by myself, would he?.

"You'll be okay right Delilah" he looked over at me.

My lips slightly parted in shock "Are you fucking serious?".

He grabbed my wrist "Chelsea give us a sec" he looked over at her with puppy dog eyes. She rolled her eyes but soon walked a few feet away.

"You can't be serious right now" I shook my head speaking in a hushed tone so Barbie over there wouldn't hear me.

He sighed "Look it's a free fuck okay, you expect me to pass that up?".

"Yes!" I whisper shouted "You're really going to leave me just to have a one night stand with her" I pointed towards her not caring if she saw.

He groaned and ran a hand through his hair "Delilah -".

"You know what she did to me Calum" my voice softened at the sensitive topic "How can you just ignore that".

He looked at her than back at me "I'm sorry okay" he frowned "here's the keys" he placed the keys in my hand.

"Go home Delilah" he whispered then walked over to Chelsea who gave me a smug look as they hugged.

I felt my face began to heat up, my chest tighten. How can he fucking do that, just for a one night stand with a complete bitch he doesn't even like. I should've expected it to be honest, he's always looking for some girl to do a quickie with. I'm just shocked that in our situation he would choose the fuck over what really matters. I don't know why I'm so worked up over it, it's not like I like him. It's not like we were going to ever end up together, he's my step brother. He wasn't even going to kiss me earlier, he probably was just fucking with me.

I pulled into the drive way of our house, sighing as I looked at the broken corner of the roof that never got fixed.

"You have to hold it higher Lily!" Aunt Kate laughed, her eyes following my hands trying to fix the position.

The kite ran into the top of the roof getting stuck on something.

"I think we need more room" she giggled "What do you think?".

I nodded looking sadly at the roof.

"Aw" she gently grabbed my cheeks "don't be sad baby, we can get a new kite".

"But I like that kite" I frowned feeling my eyes began to water.

"Do you really like it?" She squinted her eyes looking up at the roof.

I nodded.

"Do you really really like it?"

"I really really really like it!" I cheered giggling.

"Alright how about this" she pressed her lips into a thin line "You stay here and I'll go on the roof and get it, just for you" she poked my stomach earning another giggle from me.

I nodded furiously.

She sighed "I'll be right back".

I squeezed my eyes tightly trying to get the vision to disappear, I hadn't had a vision of her since years ago. God I hope they don't come back, I don't need that in my life right now.

I sighed getting out the car entering the now dark and quiet house. I slowly took soft steps up the stairs assuming that Jeff and my mom would be sound asleep.

"It's not her fault dear" I heard a hushed voice coming from my parents room down the hall. I made my way to their door looking through the small crack left open.

"Who does she think she is talking to me like that" Jeff shook his head pacing back and forth among the room.

"She was just trying to stick up for Calum" she shook her head softly.

"Stop defending her" he growled.

"But -" she began to speak before getting cut off by the back of his hand harshly hitting against her face.

I barged into the room as in instinct to help my mom. Her eyes widened as she noticed my presence immediately running over to me. Jeff sighed and turned so his back was now facing me.

"Delilah I got it covered" she began pushing me out.

"But mom -" my eyes still fixed on Jeff.

"Delilah it's ok" she sighed pushing me into the hall closing and locking the door behind her.

I stood staring at the door, how could he fucking hit her. Has he hit her before? I ran into my room falling desperately onto my bed stuffing my face into my pillow.

I heard a door slam and heavy footsteps followed by softer ones pass my door. I furrowed my eyes and followed the two downstairs, mom gave Jeff a hug before he walked out the front door.

I cleared my throat, her tear stained face looked up at me.

"Delilah" she sighed "Don't worry about me okay, it was the first time he's ever dont that" she began walking back up the stairs.

"And he promised it was the last" she grazed past my shoulder back into her room.

Well, tonight was eventful.
