JOE'S POV*****

Joe went into his apartment after leaving Y/N and put his hands on his face. He couldn't believe he asked her on a date. When he had gone to get the script on the first day, the last thing he expected was to meet anyone, least of all a woman, AND almost get knocked out. But that's what she did, literally and figuratively. He watched her as she was picking up her script and something drew him to her. She had this aura about her that seemed to draw him in, he couldn't figure out what it was. She didn't look like the girls he usually had dated who were more waif-ish and short. Instead, she was fuller figured and around his height. When they met and started talking, she actually listened to him. Other girls always wanted to talk about themselves and never really paid attention or wanted to hear about him. When he had gone to see her today to work on his speech, he wasn't planning to ask her to the party, but hanging out with her working on the cafeteria speech, there was a point when she seemed so far away during the scene, like her heart was hurting. He could almost feel her pain so being able to make her laugh was a great triumph for him. And when he touched her cheek, all he could think about was touching her more. But he didn't, he didn't want to scare her off or anything. He had spoken to Mason earlier in the day to see if he knew anything about her. Mason hadn't told him much that she hadn't already shared with him during their first meeting, except that she was 43. Joe never realized she was that age. It didn't bother him, in fact, it worried him that she would think he was too young for her. He had always liked older women actually. He just had never met one that was willing to give a younger man a chance, so it surprised him when she said yes to a date. He wanted to make her feel special and he wanted her to give him a chance to show her he deserved a chance to prove age didn't matter. Joe sat on his sofa, crossing his arms behind his head staring at the ceiling, smiling at his boldness in asking her out. He jumped a little when he heard a knock at the door, beaming as he opened the door hoping to see Y/N but only seeing Joe Keery.

"Sorry, man," Keery said when he saw Joe's smile fade. "Expecting someone?"

"Not really, mate. Just getting ready for the party tonight. What's happening?"

Well, I got picked to run to the airport to pick up one of the cast members and thought you might wanna tag along. Jamie Bower?"

Joe grinned, "Great! A little taste of home." They walked out to the car and as they were getting in, Keery cut right to the chase as he drove.

"Yeah, so Mason tells me you've been asking about Y/N..." Joe smiles a little as he looks out the car window.

"A little..."

"So... you like her?"

"I've spent some time talking to her and she's lovely. Yes... I'm quite intrigued by her."

"Well, you should ask her out, man."

Joe grinned looking over at Keery. "Actually, I'm taking her to the party later."

"So what's the issue? You got your foot in the door. Keep making moves." Joe shrugged a little as they head into the airport and meet Jamie. Once they got Jamie's bags and got back into the car, chatter soon turned from Joe and Jamie catching up to Keery wanting to talk more about Y/N. "So, has Joe told you about Y/N?"

"Actually, now that you mention it, he hasn't. Joseph, dear boy, do tell."

"There's really nothing to TELL. She's playing a teacher at the school who happens to be a bit of a thorn in the students sides. We met picking up the first script and have been talking. Nothing else."

"Except he asked her to be his date to the party tonight," Keery interrupted. Jamie hit Joe's shoulder.

"Bravo, mate! You must really like her if you aren't saying much about her."
