I have been in my room ever since the fight between my mother and I. I have been pacing for three straight hours, and my legs are becoming weak and I can feel the streak of pain swimming up my leg. The room has become humid, and my skin is moist. I open a window hoping to let air in, but
all I feel is a cool temperature wrap around my body, and I grunt.
I just want out of this hole I am trapped in. Somehow reach my hand through the hole that is in the sky and climb my way out, out of the mess I am in.
I see a dull yellow notebook on my white nightstand, with a blue pen sitting aside it. I quickly reach for it, and write a note for my mother if she even bothers to show up.
Mom,
I am just going to wander around the town. I need to escape this gargantuan mess. My thoughts are scattered in thousands of different places, and I figure if I possibly walk around, see peoples faces, I might get a touch of happiness and warmth. I'm not leaving, although I am also not sure if you are permanently staying, and if you are just home to pack up a suitcase and be some selfish coward and leave me and your issues with dad home. He's not coming home tonight either so I don't know what book you are reading on being a good parent.
Anyways, if you do see this, I will be back soon, I just need some space. You should be the one out of everyone to understand this.
Sincerely,
Addison.

It was windier than I expected, and pretty much regretting the decision of not bringing a jacket. The trees were shifting in all sorts of directions, and branches were flying everywhere. The sky was a dark violet, and there wasn't one area where there wasn't a star. The view make me give a faint smile, so I continue to stare at it just to let time pass.
"Nice, isn't it?" A voice says. I come out of my thoughts, and look at the person next to me. He was tall and muscular, but his face gives a feel of comfort and joy. He gives a warm smile, and his teeth sparkle only a little.
I smile at him and wrap a hand around my straight hair and place is all behind me. "Yes it is, actually," I say, biting my lip a little and looking back up.
"I'm Jason Myers. I like sports, walking around here especially close to midnight, and girls with a pretty smile and basically a girl who lights up the room. Your turn to talk."
I laugh a little and turn my head to him. I cross my arms across my chest and start. "I'm Addison and yeah, that's pretty much it."
"Oh c'mon, you don't like anything? I know that's impossible considering the fact you were smiling at the sky. You saying you don't like that?" He says, bending his head down so we some what be on the same eye level.
I sigh. "I don't know, I mean, there's not much to like," I say, shrugging my shoulders.
He's stumped, I can tell. Great, another person who think I'm off or delusional. "Okay look, you are wasting your time on me. I'm nothing special, move along to the next girl."
He mouth twitches, but somehow a smile lays across it.
"I like to believe there is something special about everyone, wether that person sees it or not. And you are special, something about you, I just can't put a finger on it yet."
I blush a little. "Is it my eyes? I'm told my eyes are fierce and nerve wracking and a whole bunch of other crap."
He laughs and puts his pointer finger on my eyebrow, moving it up a little to open my left eye up more.
"No it's not that, it's just an eye," I stiffen a little since his finger is on me and I hardly know him, but I allow the texture of him hand to calm me down a little. "And if you think you're going to have your eyes scare me off, try again."
I nod, and he removes his finger.
"Follow me, Addison. Tonight, I'm going to bring the life into you, and actually make you like something. Hopefully that something will be me." He smirks a little, though I know it's a joke.
"You're off to a good start, but don't get too comfortable," I say, pointing a finger at him.
"Comment is noted."
He starts to walk backwards, and I follow him. Maybe this was the warmth I was trying to find; maybe he's the deep snow that saves someone from getting hurt when they fall.
