I threw myself into my schoolwork after Noah showed up. My next class today had Noah in it, and I sat away from him. He, of course, sat right next to me.
"Just because I don't have my stun gun right now doesn't mean I won't use it on you later for this," I told him.
"I just want to talk."
"I'm done listening to you. I shouldn't have gotten back involved with you. But don't worry, I will never make that same mistake again."
After class, I headed to the administration building. It was the only place I could think of that would have school records.
"Are you sure you want to do this? You are forcing a lot on a family that is probably dead." Riley said.
I brought her along because she had more knowledge in tech stuff than I did.
"Yes, I'm sure. Even if something did happen to them, there is no way Blue Rose would be able to cover it all up. Even they make mistakes."
Riley sat in one of the waiting chairs, and I walked up to the desk. The same woman from my first day, Stacey Smith, was there. Good, she knew who I was.
"Hello," I said.
She looked up from her computer and smiled at me. "Hello, dear. How can I help you?"
"I wanted to know if you would give me a list of names at this school with the initials E.D. going back; I wanna say a little over twenty years."
She looked at me like I was an idiot.
"We don't give those types of records out; even if we did, it would be impossible to narrow that down with just two letters."
I sighed. Bitchy rich girl it was. I looked at the part too. I had my hair in a high ponytail with a white headband. I was wearing a white button-up shirt, with a blue sweater on top and a matching blue skirt. I had on long white socks and mary jane shoes.
"Do you know who my father is? Henry fucking Warren."
She looked bored. I know this had happened to her many times. Riley came up behind me while I talked about how Henry helped build the science building last year. Riley pointed at a random office as if she had an appointment, and Stacey waved her right in. I kept a steady rant going for a while before she finally lost her patience.
"Miss Warren, I will call security if you don't leave this office."
I faked gasped. "Security? Okay, Karen. If that's how you want to play this." I pulled out my phone and started recording. "We have a Karen here," I said into the camera.
Just as I saw her reach for what was usually a panic button, Riley came out and gave me a small thumbs up. I did a few more minutes of extraness before leaving before campus security showed up. Riley was waiting for me while leaning against the wall. We walked to the library together and booked a private room.
I watched as Riley did some tech stuff. An hour later, she was finally done.
"Okay, I found ten people with the first and last initials being E.D. Lucky for us, Caswell is a small college." she walked over to the printer in the room and pulled out a piece of paper. She stopped when she was about to hand it to me. "Are you sure about this?"
I took the paper from her. "Yeah, why do you and Jessica keep asking me that?"
"Maybe because you might not be thinking straight considering you were about to be trafficked. We just want to make sure you aren't being fully blinded by your rage."
I smiled at her. "My rage hasn't even begun."

When I got back to my room, I stared at the list. Are they, right? Was I just being blinded by my rage? I mean, the whole thing with this secret family was weird but going to search for them could be dangerous. But I didn't precisely join this entire revenge plot to be safe. I got started on the list right away. I went down the list using Riley's homemade data search engine. I don't know how she did shit like that. It gave me their current address, phone number, last purchase, and current location.. I first factored out all the names of the people that hadn't given birth. That left me with four women. I looked at the final names on the list:
