"What were you thinking? Going out with a group like that! There was only one other girl! You know how boys are like." My mom yelled, also at my brother, for letting me go with them, "i don't want you hanging out with them."

"What?! What did they do to you?!" I yelled back.

"They seem like trouble, y/n!" She argued.

"This is all because your stupid boyfriend broke up with you isnt it?!" I argued back, she stayed silent, "isnt it?!"

She slapped me, "go to your room!"

My eyes stung with tears, god what is her fucking problem? Shes taking her anger out on us because her shitty-ass boyfriend broke up with her. I heard my brother and her argue too, before i heard a door slam near me, that was most likely my brother.

I sobbed. I didn't like crying, especially if it was in front of someone, but since no one was there, i let it out. The emotions i had been bottling up every since my actual dad died, were just coming out all at once.

"Shes bullshit." I whispered to myself, "shes not worth crying over."

But that still didn't stop me from crying, till a tap at the window did.

I wiped my tears and went over, pulling the curtains, Gwen was hanging from the window-sill.

Her face softened into a worried look when she saw how red my eyes were, and i let her in.

"What did she say?" Gwen asked.

"She said, that you guys were just trouble..i don't think she means it, but her shitty boyfriend broke up with her again, so theres a 50% chance i might have to move again, but I'm not going too. I like it here, its better than any place i have moved to, I'm not gonna let her control my life anymore," i said, wiping a few other tears.

Gwen pulled me into a hug, she knew how i felt.

"How about this, lets go have a girls day tomorrow, just us, no billy, no Finney, and definitely, no robin," she said, laughing.

I smiled at her, she did know how to cheer someone up.

"Thanks Gwen," i said.

"No problem..now tell me all about billy."
