I was so proud of myself for doing this. I can't believe I went against my entire family and my duty for...him. I love Simon so much, I won't let anyone tell me to do something that will hurt him ever again.
Most of the students at Hillerska accepted out relationship, some didn't, but we didn't care, we had eachother now.
My mother immediately called me as me and Simon were cuddling on my bed. I picked up, but didn't let go of him
'Wilhelm what did you do!?! You just ruined our whole reputation!!! Nobody is going to accept a king like you, you're a disappointed to the royal family!!!!!' she yelled, I didn't have her on speaker and Simon got scared bc she was so loud and we both got up. Her words made me upset, I was about to cry, while he has holding my hand
'Mom you don't get to control me anymore, you don't get to control who I love , I've had enough of this. I don't care about your opinion anymore, and if I'm such a disappointment, I shouldn't be king at all!!!!' I yelled back at her
'WILHELM DONT EVEN TRY TO RAISE YOUR VOICE AT ME AGAIN, YOU'RE THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN BE KING AFTER ERIK'S DEA-' Before she could finish her sentence I hung up the phone.
'Are you okay?' Simon asked me the soon as we made eye contact
' Simon I came out.. Why did such a good achievement turn into a disaster out of nowhere...?' I asked and laid my head on his shoulder, he put his hand on my hair and held my hand with his other hand
'Do you regret it?' He asked
'No, I just hate disappointing my family' I explained and he kissed me on the head
'Everything is going to get better, I promise' he said in a confronting voice
'Thank you for being here Simon..' I said
'Always, Wille.' He responded and we laid back down on the bed and fell asleep.
The next day was sort of weird. We both woke up and after we got dressed we went to get breakfast holding hands. I heard a lot of whispering and many people were looking at us, but the only whisper I heard was Simon's, when he whispered in my ear
'Ignore them mi amor' he said.
I just gave him a smile and we both got our plates and sat down next to eachother. Afterwards we sat next to eachother in class, Sara looked kind of upset about it. Simon explained to me that apparently they had made a promise that her and Simon would always sit next to eachother, but she just sat next to Felice instead. I could tell she was angry at Simon though.
After classes I saw that I had many missed calls from my mom. I didn't want to deal with her, but I called her so she would know I'm doing perfectly fine.
W: Hi mama.
K: Hello Wilhelm. I am calling to warn you about what you did. It's unacceptable to the monarchy, you've embarrassed us to the whole family.
W: Mama I've had enough of you telling me who I'm supposed to love. I know I'm the crown prince, but let me love who I want.
K: WILHELM I TRIED NOT TO LOSE MY PATIENCE THIS TIME BUT YOU'RE CROSSING THE LINE. YOU EITHER FIX THIS OR SOMEONE ELSE WILL TAKE THE THRONE INSTEAD OF YOU
W: That's great news, I don't want to be king yet anyways
After that I hung up the phone, I just decided to sit down on my bed and read my book, when Simon suddenly came in the room
'Hi sweetie' I said and quickly got up to hug him
'Hiii' he responded and hugged me back and we kissed
'Sara, Felice and Madison want us to go watch a movie with them, would you like to go?' He asked me
'Of course!' I responded. We were supposed to be there in an hour, so we had time to get ready with eachother
'Mi amor let me put on my fucking shirt' Simon said while laughing and I was hugging him from the back
'Fiiine, be quick or I'm leaving without you' I said. After 5 minutes he got out of the bathroom and we went to the girls to watch the movie
