Kai went throughout his day with a horrible attitude. Then, went through his week like a slug attached to a wire, being dragged by a snail. In plain words, he was miserable, tired, and overall just mad about everything. He wasn't answering Albedos texts or calls or anything, which probably spiked worry that Kai didn't care about. Albedo is indeed straight, and was probably hooking up with that woman in his office. He knew that he should probably get over it, it was a silly crush to have anyways, but no matter what he did, he couldn't let go of the burning love he felt for Albedo.  He stepped into his apartment after another day of suffering, watching Albedo chat away with other people while he moped around the office. He tore off his shoes and coat, putting them messily into their places before going to his bedroom, and plopping down onto his bed. He always felt like the bed was uncomfortable, more now that he spent a night in Albedos.
He turned on this phone, letting the bright screen blind him before scrolling through his messages.

Xae-"Kai you haven't talked in here for the past i dont know, week?"

Envy-"he has a job, unlike you."

Xae-"FUCK YOU FAGGOT"

Scout-"dont call my baby boo bear Faggot"

Xae-"shut it, but yeah, Kai are you there?"

Kai-"hi"

Scout-"kaiii"

Envy-"where have you been?"

Kai-"Brooding, I think Albedo is straight and with another girl."

Xae-"where did you get that??"

Kai-"before he said he was busy for a whole 3 weeks and then I saw him in his office, looked like he was kissing a girl."

Envy-"Maybe it was something else?"

Kai-"He hasn't made the effort to talk to me, even though I haven't been answering his calls or anything"

Scout-"If he's that bad that forget about him, you deserve better"

Kai-"You dont believe that"

Scout-"meh"

Xae-"You should talk to him, just in case"

Kai-"Maybe."

He shut off his phone and placed it on his dresser, and rolled onto his back. Tears started to prick at his eyes, how could someone like Albedo want him? I think its the other way around, he didn't deserve someone like Albedo.

He looked at his phone after a good 10 minutes, and FINALLY opened Albedos texts.

Albedo-"Hi, wanna hang out? Im finally free"

Albedo-"Are you there?"

Albedo-"If your busy its okay"

Albedo-"its been a day, are you okay?"

Albedo-"Did I do something?"

Albedo-"Im sorry, I didn't mean to be busy, I was so caught up with work and other stuff, please respond"

Albedo-"Xae said you weren't talking to them either"

Albedo-"Please just tell me you're okay"

Albedo-"Im sorry, I still dont know what I did but yeah"

Albedo-"I will check on you tomorrow"

Albedo-"you weren't in your office"

Albedo-":("

Kai-"hi"

Albedo-"KAI, I was so worried, i n know what I did to make you ignore me but im so sorry and please just tell me I wanna make it better, im your friend right?"

Kai-"I was, busy. And sorry aswell, I didn't know what I was doing"

Albedo-"Can we talk in person?"

Kai-"fine"

Albedo-"The park at 7:30?"

Kai-"sure"

Kai sighed, he could not believe he was getting wrapped up in this again, he knew how it would end. He checked the time, 6:30. He shrugged and just got changed, and around 7:25 he left to go to the park to meet Albedo, with a heavy heart he turned the corner to see Albedo waiting for him.

"Hi" Kai waved, flashing a forced smile to albedo.
"Hi." Albedo perked up, giving a warm smile back.
"What did you wanna talk about?" Kai started fiddling with his hoodie things.
"I'm really sorry. I was.. busy for the past 3-4 weeks and I never took into consideration about how you felt about being shut out all the time. It was really wrong of me, I really should have made a clear answer to you and-"
"Please, its fine. I already told you." Kai gave an annoyed huff.
"Its not fine. You're mad at me, Its pretty obvious. And its making me feel sick thinking that I did something to made you mad." Albedo raised his voice a bit, placing his hand on his chest. Kai, was caught off guard by this, and looked at the ground.
"Okay, I am mad, but i dont wanna talk about-"

"You have to! We can't make anything better if you shut me out, if you dont wanna be my friend anymore, just fucking spit it out! Ive been busy with someone in the company because shes trying to get me into a business deal and wont leave me the fuck alone! It isn't my fault that she was on my tail every single second of the day!" Albedo defensively Stated, his voice now very loud. Kai just blinked, and felt his entire being shake. He then grew guilty, he had gotten mad and rude at Albedo, before asking what he was even busy about. Maybe he should've believed Scout.

"Oh."

"Yeah."

The air grew tense and quiet. Not the kind of silence back during that one night, but one that made both parties suffocate. Kai finally looked up at the other man, who had a serious expression, One that really made Kai wanna kiss it away.

"Im sorry. And you're forgiven. I just overreacted, I didn't even try to ask what was happening, I just assumed something, it wasn't right of me to get angry." Kai flashed a toothy fake smile.
"Dont try to force a smile you dont mean." Albedos hands turned into fists.
"You're forgiven, just.. come hang out with me one of these days? Lets try again." Albedo mumbled the last part and un clenched his fists.
"Okay." Kai finally un-tensed, offering out his hand to the other, who took it.
"Can I hug You?" Kai asked
"Of course"

The two hugged in the middle of a park, at night. Kai felt his heart burst, this was good enough for him(not really) but it was good to know that maybe that woman wasnt kissing Albedo. Speaking of kissing, Kai looked down at Albedos lips, and without thinking, gave a small little peck to them.

Albedo froze, Kai immediately realized what he did and pushed Albedo away with a really red face. "IM SO SORRY!" Kai screamed, and dashed off as fast as he could. Meanwhile, a stunned Albedo placed his finger to his lips, and a smile crept onto his face. Maybe it was good to face his fear and confront the boy.
