"Hello Mr. Velez. I would like to invite Ms. Velez to our Opening in Italy." Rohan said on a freakin call.

We're having dinner when someone calls Papa. And for freakin heaven's sake, it's Ali.

Nawala ako sa focus sa pagkain at hindi ko naman marinig ang pinag-uusapan nila.

"Valerie Rose!" Rinig kong sigaw ni papa pagkatapos ng tawag.

"Yes po?" I said. Gulping. Baka di ako payagan. I mean, sa Italy yun.

Di talaga ako papayagan. Asa ka Val.

"Mr. Martinez is inviting you to their opening. It's quite far though." Papa said.

"Are you willing to join?" Tanong din ni mama.

"Uhm, papayag po ba kayo hehe?"

"Of course. It's also your first time there." Sabi naman ni mama.

"Just make sure na uuwi kang walang galos okay sweetie?" Tanong ni papa.

I nodded. That's my dad.

A week of preparation then we'll go.

"Ms Velez, you'll sit beside Rohan. It's his responsibility to bring you home safely." Mrs Martinez told me.

"Yes. I need to bring you home safely with no scratch. Mr. Veles might kill me." Natatawang sabi ni Ali.

"Binantaan ka ba?" I told him while chuckling.

He nodded. It's not shocking anymore.

"It's fine. Your dad is just caring for you. He said you're his princess." He said to me.

"Yeah. I'm a daddy's girl." I said to him remembering how close i am with papa.

"Are you sleepy?" Ali asked me when he saw me yawn.

I don't want to sleep. There might be unexpected things that'll happen to this plane while I'm asleep.

I'd rather stay awake.

"Don't worry. I'll wake you up later. And I'm sure that we'll arrive there safely." Ali said like he was reading my mind.

"How'd you know?" I asked him.

"Know what?" He said innocently. Natawa pa nga.

"Nothing." I said to him. I yawned again. Nakakahiya.

"Rest in my shoulder, Ms. Velez. If you're comfy." He requested.

I just did. I'm too sleepy.

"Sweet dreams." Rinig kong bulong nya.

"Val, wake up now." He whispered.

"Hmm? Did we arrive already?" I asked.

He smiled sweetly. " Not yet. But it's time for breakfast. We're also near." Sagot nya naman.

"Di pa sana kita gigisingin. Kaso baka magpalipas ka nanaman ng gutom." He said in his concered tone. Mahina lang but enough for me to hear.

"Want some pancakes?" Tanong nya sakin.

I just nodded. Nakakahiya.

"Blushing eh?" He said and chuckled because of my reaction.

"I would like to thank you for traveling with us on behalf of AiraVento Airlines and the entire crew, and we hope to have you on board again soon. Enjoy your time here in Italy." I heard the flight attendant before the plane landed.
