"So what type of information did you find that we could use against him maybe?" I said looking at her
"Nygel's mom and brother were killed so he is trying to find out who had something to do with it because he thought it was his sister who did that but he looked over the cameras to see that they were alive when she left them" Mrs.Dabney said clearing her throat
"So he thinks that someone else killed them from the inside, huh?" I said crossing my arms
"Yeah and also that Nygel had this guy name Kash Walker do something for him but he didn't really tell too much behind that so maybe you can get one of your people to look into that name later" Mrs.Dabney said looking at me
"I will get my cousin to look into that name when I get back home but anything else maybe his next move or something" I said concerned
"No, all I know is that his main problem is finding out who killed his mom and brother from the inside now he also was telling people that Bryson had something to do with their death. The cameras showed an empty hallway when his sister left to when he checked on them later that night" Mrs.Dabney said crossing her arms
I nodded my head because as long as Nygel think that it was someone else from inside the building then that should give us some more time to check this Kash Walker out and shit.
"Well thanks for the good information now you and Mr.Dabney stay safe, okay" I said looking at her
"You are welcome Liyah now thank you for sharing that information too like I hope you and your family stay safe too" Mrs.Dabney said smiling
As Mrs.Dabney and I got up from the table to hug each other then I quickly slipped a bug into her purse and backed away with a smile on my face while she walked away towards the entrance of the restaurant.
"Check her Kam" I said quietly
"You really think that this plan will work" Kam said
"Kam like you need to have faith in your lovely cousin now" I said walking to the door
"I knew her since I was 18 years old and she has not changed that purse like that purse is her baby so it is stuck to her hip all day" I said getting in the car
Only if Mrs.Dabney knew that I had Kam listening to our conversation this whole time because something told me not to her or Mr.Dabney at all. They are real sneaky when it come to shit so I kinda made up sum fake information that I already knew that she would run back to Nygel or someone else.
"So what's the word on that nigga name Kash Walker?" I said looking around
"Well Kash Walker is 49 from Chicago blah blah has a stepbrother name Artist Walker that lives here and is 24. I found an address to Artist place but for Kash like nothing is coming up for him... no address or nothing which I don't blame him if I killed someone then I would definitely went off of the map. Now his mom is very much alive but she still lives in Chicago and check your phone because I just sent you the address for both of them" Kam said
I sat there in the driver seat as I pulled my phone out of my purse to see the text message that Kam just sent me with two different addresses that might come in handy soon.
"Artist place ain't far from here maybe I should pay him a lil visit or something" I said crossing my arms
"I wouldn't do that like I would most definitely head to Chicago to talk to the mother and act like you were a friend of Kash type shit" Kam said
"Now come on Kam like what happened to having faith in your cousin because you know that I will be okay so don't worry too much. What could actually go wrong between now and heading to this guy name Artist place, huh?" I said shaking my head
"AAIYAH ANYTHING now you act like my stubborn ass daughters chile just don't wanna listen when I tell them not to do something" Kam said sighing
While I was pulling out of the parking lot talking to Kam heading to this guy's place that was only 10 minutes away from the restaurant to finally notice this black vehicle has been following me since I drove out of the parking lot. Now I really don't want to jump to conclusion about it til this is the 5th turn that this person made behind me.
"Kam you still with me?" I said driving
"Yeah what's good?" Kam said
"I don't wanna jump to conclusion but this all-black vehicle has been following me since I pulled out the parking lot and this is now the 6th turn that they have did with me, to be honest" I said looking back in the mirror
"Head back to the restaurant then I will call Bryson and them to meet you there" Kam
"Nah don't do that like I will just take them on this backroad real quick" I said turning down the backroad
Just like that as I was driving down the backroad the connection in the earpiece started going in and out til the connection ended. That's when the black vehicle rammed into the back of my Range Rover which caused me to swerve into the grass a lil bit then I got back on the road. I reached over in the passenger seat to grab my phone but they rammed into me again which caused my phone to slide out of the seat next to the door.
"SHIT" I said aggressively
As I was tryna reach for something else then they rammed into the car one last time which caused me to start spinning in a circle then causing the car to flip three time to notice that the car was upside down right now.
My vision started getting blurry as I was unbuckling my seatbelt and fall on top of the ceiling of the car. I realized that my gun was in the corner which I quickly grabbed it as the black vehicle stopped behind me. I check to see if I had any bullets in the gun which I only had one bullet so I better make this one count now. I quickly shot one of them in the leg which caused him to fall to the ground and I started kicking the windshield til it broke so I could quickly get out.
"GET HER NOW SHE IS ESCAPING" A man said loudly
That's when I took off running into the woods then one of them started shooting at me which hit me in my side and I kinda fall on the ground with my hand on my side. My vision started getting back blurry once again as I was trying my best to run away from them. I had slipped over a branch and hit my head which caused me to black out then the last thing that I heard before completely blacking out.
"Help that girl into the house quickly while I get rid of them"
