"India you seen yo brudda?" I said looking at her
"Which one?" She said looking at me
"Silas, lil girl" I said crossing my arms
"No now the last time that I saw him was when he left the hospital mad as hell" India said shaking her head
"Aite now I'll be back so call me if you need anything love" I said pointing to her
"Okay dad byeee but anyway bitch" India said on the phone
I shock my head as I closed her bedroom door back then I went down the hallway towards Silas room who has been untouched. I stood at the entrance of his bedroom to look over everything from left to right with nothing but questions running through my head right now.
"Where are you boy?" I said sighing
I closed his bedroom door to start heading downstairs towards the front door to hear the door open which I thought it was Silas coming in but it was only August coming home from basketball practice.
"What's up pops" August said looking at me
"What's good son now how was practice tho?" I said grabbing my keys
"It was cool and tiring at the same time but it's all worth it in the end of the tunnel tho" August said smiling
"That's good to hear now I'm proud of you boy forreal and I'm sorry for missing out on you and your bruddas shit! I promise that I'll be there for your next game that's coming up next week" I said looking at him
"It's fine dad like you don't have to apologize for what you had to do and everything tho" August said nodding his head
"Well I have to run a couple of errands and shit but Dia is in her room also if you get any word on where Silas is then call me tho" I said walking to the door
"Aite pops" August said walking to his room
That's when I opened the door to close and lock it behind me then started walking towards my car. As I was getting into the vehicle then my phone started ringing which caused me to pull it out my pocket to notice that it was Bully calling me.
"What's da word nigga!" I said driving out the driveway
"What's good tho now any word on where my dumb ass nephew went tho?" Bully said
"Sadly nah but I told August if he see or hear from him then holla at me tho" I said driving
"Oh aight but where you at tho?" Bully said concerned
"Finna slide to the trap real quick now why?" I said smoking
"Come slide by my house since Keisha and King just left" Bully said
