"So, what else do you want to hear?" Nezumi asked as he took a seat on the counter. He flipped a chair around and stuck his feet in it. He glanced up, looking around the room as he sipped the coffee.
"What else do you have?" A girl in the back asked. Nezumi sat the cup down. He glanced at the clock. They had just over three hours left in the work day.
"Prom? School?" he snorted.
"School..." His thoughts drifted back. Shion was a physical lover. He loved to touch Nezumi. To hold his hand to brush against him, to always be close to him. Most of the time, Nezumi didn't give it a thought. But, School. Well, he did have a bit of a reputation.
The kick came from out of no where. Nezumi was alone. He was waiting for Shion's advanced chemistry class to get out. Standing behind one of the buildings, Nezumi was gazing up at the sun. He frowned. That was when he got kicked, hard, in the groin. He doubled over, almost falling. He caught himself on the wall.
There standing before him, was a person he found he had a complicated relationship with. Inukashi! The shorter boy stood there glaring at him. His shoulder shook in the thin shirt he wore. Nezumi forced himself to stand upright.
"Inukashi. What do I owe the pleasure in such a greeting?" he demanded.
"You are lower than the dirt. How dare you!?" the other snarled at him. "Do you even know anything about him?" he cried.
"It would help if I knew who you were referencing?" Nezumi acted innocently.
"SHION!" Inukashi cried.
"Hmm, I didn't know you were acquainted with him." Nezumi stated.
"I've known him, for a bit now." Inukashi rubbed the back of his neck.
"Yeah?" Nezumi arched his eyebrow at him. Did he have a thing for the pale boy? "If you have known him at all, you knew we were friends." Nezumi pointed out.
"A fact I tried, desperately, to fix. Shion won't hear anything bad about you." Inukashi looked away. Nezumi noted the slight blush to his cheeks.
"What does that mean?" Nezumi demanded moving a step closer. The other boy leapt back.
"Stay away from Shion." Inukashi demanded. "Don't touch him." He yelled, rising his hand as if to strike the other boy. Nezumi arched his delicate eyebrow. Condescendingly, he watched the boys movements.
"What if I told you, you were far to late with that warning?" he inched another shuffling step closer. This time it didn't register on the small boy's radar. Nezumi inched forward.
"You, you fiend. You didn't! Shion wouldn't! Not, not with you!" Inukashi shook his head.
"Several times now, actually. We spent the weekend together, doing just that..." Nezumi wiped at his lower lip, drawing the boys attention to his face, away from his feet. They shuffled closer to the teen. "All. Night. Long." He punctuated his words. Each time the small figure before him flinched.
"No!" Inukashi denied his claim. "No you didn't!" He cried. Nezumi smirked.
"You want me to video it next time? Hear how I make him cry out my name? Listen to how he moans for more?" Nezumi was being cruel, he knew it, yet he didn't care. The hand shot out striking his face with a resounding smack. It echoed off the brick building. Nezumi licked at his stinging lip.
"That's twice, Inukashi. There won't be a third." Nezumi warned him. "Why are you so adamant to protect little Shion for me? Am I you're big bad wolf?" Nezumi chuckled. It was a dry dark sound.
"Please. I've never asked you for anything. Just, just leave Shion alone. He's been through enough. He doesn't need you to damage him more!" Inukashi hissed. Nezumi drew up short. He had been about to kick the little grubber's ass for hitting him, but why was he so adamant about Shion.
