The poor girl never felt so weak in her life. She swore not to beg him to let her out but she betrayed herself in the end and he still walked away from her.
Slowly her sobs turned to hiccups and then into sniffles, she hugged her legs while rocking herself on the floor. She was trapped with no way out.
She wanted to scream and rage! She wanted to rip off his head! How dare he treat her this way!
But in the end she knew that this was her fault, she let him get too close and he betrayed her.
She looked around her prison feeling so alone and lost, and cursed her father and even cursed her destiny. Even as a male, she never knew true happiness, if she ever found it, it would get torn away. First with Kikyo, then with Kagome, now with Sesshomaru.
He promised to be patient, so she let her guard down
and now here she was, imprisoned by the very person who claimed her as mate without her consent.
The hours turned into days
And still nothing.
Every day a human would open the door and place a tray of food by the door before it was shut.
Is this her fate?
To never know companionship, or love? She couldn't trust him anymore
And she didn't even know if she'll ever see her friends again
Inuyasha knew that he planned on keeping her in there until Naraku was defeated
but who knew how long that take!
Hanging her head in despair, her spirit was broken. She only hoped she was strong enough to do the only thing that would free her from this cage

Three Weeks Later
The furious voice of Sesshomaru shook the walls of the castle
"What do you mean she wont eat?!" He raged upon entering the castle after a three week hunt of searching for the foul half breed.
He was at the base of the mountains when he felt Tenseiga stirring. And, his only thought was to get back to the castle as quick as he can, fully expecting to hear that Inuyasha was being difficult, maybe even that she had managed to flee.
"We are sorry my lord" said one of the maids that were in charge of her care
"She wouldn't so much as glance at the food that was left for her and the human maids that were sent in to try to feed her were too afraid to got back in after Lady Inuyasha tried to rip out the throat of one of them"
The other maid nodded.
"It's true My Lord! Once she was too weak to fight, the human maids tried to force it down her throat but only to have her force the substance out of her body" another one chimed in
Fear clenched in his gut. So this is why Tenseiga was stirring
Inuyasha was dying. Running from the great hall to his chambers where InuYasha was being kept, he ever considered that she would do this, that she would try to put an end to her own life.
The sutras were still strong on the doors. He sliced though them easily with the poison of his claws. His heart was beating fast against the rib cage as Tenseiga gave another pulse.
Once in the room his jaw went slack.
She was laying on the bed, too weak to even open her eyes to acknowledge that the door had opened. She was thinner with dark under eye circles, her once shiny hair was flat and lifeless.
Her breathing was labored and her heart was sluggishly slow. His mate was dying.
"Quick get some broth!" He yelled out to the maids that he felt were behind him. He went to sit on the bed and looked at her, feeling emotions that have never been there before. Guilt and remorse
"I did this" he thought, "I pushed her to this"
He gently cradled her face
"My father said that male demons would try to capture and tame her wild spirit. I was foolishly confident that I was doing what was best for her, and in doing this I did what father had feared the most for Inuyasha"
"Stay with me, koibito" he whispered to her kissing her cheek gently, lovingly. He didn't know what he'd do if she died, in the short time he'd been with her she had managed to weasel her way into his ice heart with her sass and wildness.
The maids brought in a warm broth and placed it by the table.
"Leave us" he ordered. He didn't want them near, he didn't want anyone near her.
He didn't eat human food but for her he'll tolerate what had to be done. He sipped some of the liquid and then moved to her lips prying them open, he gently massaged her throat so that she could swallow the fluid.
He fed her like this a few more times making sure that she drank enough so that she could live.
"Inuyasha" he whispered. "Come back to me"
