The One Destined For Me(InuSessh Completed)

Inuyasha was looking warily at the shrine hut that held the bone eaters well, half expecting to see Sesshomaru burst out of there at any moment.

Yesterday she got a very clear glimpse of his rage while Kagome and her were at the mall. She's never been one to be intimidated by her brother, no matter how much stronger he was than her but yesterday was something unlike anything she has ever felt.

The thing that made her feel even worse were the castle guards. She closed her eyes as she fought back a wave of guilt that wanted to choke her. She knew he would be angry but this was ludicrous, he raged like a wounded animal.

"He probably didn't care all that much" she thought to herself, he was the one who kept her prisoner in the first place. He needed to learn this lesson, that she was not someone he could command around like his obedient bitch.

She had goals and a place to call home long before he butted into her life.

"Are you okay Inuyasha?"

The silver haired female looked down from the branch of the sacred tree to see Kagome's worried expression looking up at her. Inuyasha jumped off and landed right in front of her in a crouch.

"Yeah….I was just thinking of all those poor guards that had to suffer his wrath because of my actions….I have to say…this sucks. I never gave much thought to what would happen to them. Now that I felt his anger….I'm feeling like ten shades of shit right now" she explained tensely.

Inuyasha really didn't like feeling like this, it wasn't her fault that their master was a monster.

"Are you going back?"

"Are you nuts?! There is no telling what he'll do to me if I ran into him right now! No, the best thing to do is to lay low and wait for his anger to subside" she explained with a shudder.

"How long do you think that will take? Remember, you told Miroku and Sango that we would be returning in two weeks' time" Kagame reminded.

She honestly didn't know, because Sesshomaru wasn't known for his forgiving nature.

"We're going back, just not yet. When the two weeks are up we'll meet up with them and pray that he doesn't try and kidnap me again" though after yesterday she wasn't entirely sure of that, the prospect of being taken by him again left her feeling cold and anxious.

"Well then, what do you want to do today? You want to go and see a movie or something?"

Inuyasha shook her head.

"Okay, I know you really don't like my era, it's noisy and stuff. How about I bring out a few magazines and we can just lounge out here in the sun? It'll be like being in the feudal era" Kagome attempted again.

"Yeah…sure that sounds good" Inuyasha said trying to sound cheerful but it was obvious she wasn't feeling very jolly.

Kagome gave her a calculating look as she tilted her head to one side then the next before grinning.

"What?" Inuyasha hesitantly asked, not knowing if she really wanted to know.

"I'd really like to play with your face"

"HUH?" Inuyasha felt her eyes go wide at her statement "Did you just say you want to play with my face?!" Whatever that even means.

"Yeah, it's called make up. My friends at school and I always use to do it. I would really love to see how you would look with makeup! "

Inuyasha grimaced "I don't know" she said trying hard to not look as terrified as she felt.

"Oh come on! Please?" Kagome said clasping her hands together and pretended to bat her lashes at the demon girl on the tree.

"You know that doesn't work on me anymore…haha!" Inuyasha proudly laughed as she pointed her finger at her. Kagome scowled.

"Come on you big poop butt!"

"Stop calling me a butt!"

Fifteen minutes later however...

Inuyasha was sitting on a blanket that was thrown on the grass in the back of Kagome's house with a box full of things she didn't even know was called painted on her face. Inuyasha kept her eyes close as Kagome piled stuff after stuff on her face.

"My face feels funny" Inuyasha said trying hard to say this without moving her face too much.

"Shush…I'm almost done" Kagome patiently said.

Finally after what seemed like hours she declared "Done! Open your eyes"

"I can't…the crap you put on them made them weight a ton" Inuyasha chuckled when Kagome snorted.

"Whatever. Open your eyes!"

Inuyasha opened her eyes to glare at her. She saw Kagome's eyes widen then squealed in delight.

"Oh my gosh! You're so beautiful! Look" She held out a small mirror up to her face making Inuyasha go "Gah!" at her reflection.

Whatever she put on Inuyasha's lashes made them darker and longer making her gorgeous gold eyes stand out even more. She had color on her eyelids almost like Sesshomaru, but hers was in a beautiful shade of brown that had bronze in it accenting her gold eyes.

Kagome made Inuyasha's face look like it was carved out of stone, polished and smooth and her lips had a shiny finish.

"Oh if only Sesshomaru could see you! He would die!" Kagome excitedly squealed.

"Not before he kills me" Inuyasha muttered trying to appear nonchalant, but the truth was that she could imagine how Sesshomaru would react to this change, and it made her blush. "Okay, I am so not going there!"

"You know Inuyasha, I really think Sesshomaru cares about you…..like for real" she said softly seeing Inuyasha's blush.

"I don't think so" the silver haired demoness said softly wondering why it came out like a sigh.
