She had made it a good few yards away from camp before she yelped in surprise when she found the ground leave her feet and a strong arm wrap it's self around her waist and she was pulled up. She looks up to see Sesshomaru's profile.

He took her far from the others, obviously not wanting to be overheard, and then he places down on the green grass.

She was bracing her self for his wrath

but it never came. Instead she felt his arms wrap around her as he sat down on a tree stump with her placed onto his lap, he cradled her in his arms.

"I am sorry little one" he whispered against one of her ears "If you only wanted to be held then you just needed to say so, I would never deny you such a small request"

Inuyasha sighed as she rubbed her face against his chest and laid there for a while.

"So are you going to tell me what triggered your outburst?" he said.

"If I knew myself I would tell you but even I don't know what the hell that was back there" she said as she chuckled "You should have seen your face"

"You're not being very nice koneko, that was the closest I have ever been to fear in my whole existence" he muttered

Inuyasha snorted delicately "Then it was well worth it! whatever that was" Inuyasha said then sighed and buried her nose to his neck, licking his skin making him shiver slightly. There was something so empowering about the fact that she could make him lose control like that, the great demon lord was putty in her delicious hands.

"Don't do that, remember you're still in heat, this isn't wise for you to do" he said seriously but held her tighter as she gave him little kisses up and down his neck "After my little temper tantrum I want comfort" Inuyasha said smiling when he groaned a bit.

"You're playing with fire" he breathed "You seem to be under the impression that I have infinite control Inuyasha"

"Mmmm" was all the female said as she moved from his lap so that she was now straddling him. She continued to lick, kiss and nibble on his neck and shoulders making him breathe harder as he tried to remain in control.

She didn't want him to be in control, she wanted to see him wild and passionate, she wanted to be the one who made this ever constant stoic face fierce with need.

When she started to feel her demon stir it's when she pulled away and grinned at him making him groan and leaned his head against her shoulder.

"You're going to be the death of me" he said as he blew out a frustrated breath then looked at her "Are you feeling better?"

"Not really but I think I got better control of my emotions now, at least I know I'm not going to start bawling again" see huffed

Once they made it back to camp they packed so that they could be able to make to the western lands by night fall.

It was a few hours already that they have been running when it started to drizzle so she put the hood of her fire rat cloak over her head blocking the rain from soaking her to the bone.

Kagome had taken out her umbrella and shielded herself from the rain as well.

Sesshomaru was ahead of them, flying up in the sky as guard and keeping watch for danger.

As they ran, she enjoyed the smell of damp earth and fresh air, this was Inuyasha loved most about the woods. It was a pure and peaceful scent that made her love being outside. She lifted her head up and inhaled deeply almost getting drunk off of the scents of the forest.

Then she caught the scent of demons
