The machines tethered to the former students began detaching themselves freeing them from the fake world. One by one they woke up to consistent thumps coming from upstairs. Only three of them knew what those thumps were. Slowly they climbed out of the beds and looked around.

"This is real right?" Akane asked.

"As real as it can get." Mokoto smiled.

"They're still asleep." Fuyuhiko looked into one of the beds.

"We'll wake them up." Hajime told him.

"Hey your eye man!" Kazuichi pointed at Fuyuhiko.

" It's like totally different." Akane looked at him weirdly.

Fuyuhiko laughed. "At least I have two!"

*Thump!*

"Do you guys have a bear up there or something?" Kazuichi asked the three Future Foundation workers.

"Not exactly." Kiyoko laughed.

*Boom!*

"Did you not take away his stuff?!" Mokoto's eyes widened.

"We were in a bit of a rush." Byakuya rolled his eyes.

"Stop keepin secrets from us! What's up there?" Akane demanded.

The three looked at each other. "You wanna see it?" Mokoto asked.

The six looked at each other suspiciously. "Okay." Then nodded in unison.

They followed Mokoto, Kiyoko, and Buyakya out of the room. As they walked they observed the facility. It was likely they would be there for quite a while. They made it to a long hallway of rooms. At the end was a door with an odd glass seeping out. Mokoto took off his blazer and shoved it between the door and the floor so the gas wouldn't escape. The metal door was locked and had a small window towards the top. Inside the view of the room was obscured by the gas.

"We'll have to wait for the gas to calm down before we open the door." Mokoto told them.

"I don't think we should ever open that door." Byakuya sighed.

"You don't give him enough credit." Kiyoko rolled her eyes.

"Hey!" Mokoto looked through the small window. "When you calm down you can come out."

Silence....

"Is that Y/n in there?" Fuyuhiko asked.

"Yes." Byakuya answered.

"Well let him out!" Akane glared.

"Ahh doesn't he want to kill us?" Kazuichi questioned.

"He is very determined too." Kiyoko nodded.

"Hajime, you should talk to him." Mokoto pushed the boy in front of the window.

"What?! What do I say?" He looked at him with wide eyes.

"Just tell him your you again." Kiyoko told him.

Taking a deep breath Hajime looked into the room. A figure with a gas mask appeared in front of the window. He was intimidating and made Hajime nervous.

"Um, it's really me, the program worked- sorta." He said. "Is that really you, Y/n?"

Suddenly the figure punched the glass, cracking it and startling Hajime. He fell backward hitting the floor with a thud. His head hit the wall hard making his brain feel fuzzy.
