Yugioh Boys X Reader One Shots

Ryou: Creepy

Warning: this story is extremely random, and features more of Ryou's manga personality, so if that's dramatically different than him from the anime, I apologize.

"This really had to happen today, didn't it?" you grumbled. You were on your way home from school, and you were all excited because you didn't have any homework, but then a thunderstorm hit, and it started pouring down rain. You were caught in the downpour and you were really regretting not bringing an umbrella.

Up the road a bit you spotted a run-down building that might have been a church. You ducked inside.

The building was in fact a church, with rotting pews leading to a weathered alter and a shattered stained glass window. This place was in bad shape, but it would shield your head from the rain.

You peeled off your damp sweater, and you were glad your undershirt wasn't too wet. It was cold in the ancient church, and the howling wind filtering in through the broken window didn't help. You decided to keep moving to keep warm.

Finding quite a few moldy Bibles really made you wonder what happened to throw this place into such disrepair. Exploring the place sent chills down your spine, and not just from the cold. Lightning caused shadows to dance as you made your way to the alter. You froze when you saw the shadow of a human, curled up against the wall.

You considered bolting away, until you noticed a glistening on his/her arm. "Oh my- are you okay?"

A fluffy head looked up at you. "Oh, hello there. Please, don't be afraid." His British accent was a little more than noticeable.

"Um, what are you doing here?" You felt safe enough to approach the teen now that he wasn't very threatening.

"Well, apparently bleeding." The boy felt his shoulder and winced, then he shook crimson drops off his fingertips. "Something broke the the window, I guess some glass hit me."

"You didn't notice?" You asked, considering running away again.

"It's cold as anything in here. My arm was numb, I guess."

"Geeze, I would offer you my sweater, but it's kind of soaked."

"I appreciate your kindness, though. Um, might you have a bandage?"

"So what are you doing here?" You repeated as you searched your bag.

The boy turned his gaze away. "Just hiding from myself. Holing up in creepy places makes me feel safe."

"Well, whatever twiddles your beanie." You dumped your backpack onto the deteriorating carpet, but only a pencil case fell out. "Sorry, I don't have anything for your arm."

"Then just come here and sit with me." The boy smiled at you with such kind eyes you didn't hesitate to do as he asked. "I'm Ryou, by the way."

You introduce yourself as a crack of thunder rips another branch off a tree. "This place definitely qualifies as creepy."

"Makes you wonder, doesn't it?"

"Yeah..." You huddled closer to him as an icy blast of wind shakes the rafters of the old building.

Although this time, it didn't seem as creepy.

This chapter was just kinda for me, cuz I'm a dork :3

P.S. I don't know what the chapter name was supposed to be, it just ended up being "Creepy". Sorry about that :P
