Chapter 1

Mariah P.O.V

My alarm goes off at 7:00, which is annoying every morning (I should be used to it, but I am not). I finally decided to get up and start to get ready for school. After I put on my clothes I headed downstairs to the smell of breakfast. Everything was set on the table the pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, french toast and waffles with orange juice on the side.

Although, I really wanted to just eat and never get tired I just rememebered that Cierra was coming and picking me up for school today and right when I thought of that I heard her honking outside the house knowing it was my bestie. So right with that, I told my mom bye and picked up my bookbag. When I got in the car, me and Cierra did our handshake. I noticed Cierra was playing my song 2012 by Chris Brown and she knows thats my song. Chris Brown is Cierra brother, I mean she know I like her brother music, but not him.

"So Ce, did you do Mr.Ball homework?" I asked.

"Girl of course, but ugh .. he just be complaining to much then now i got to be on top of my grades. 'Cause he was one of the teachers that called my parents."

" One of the teachers, dang Ce. How yo grades really looking?"

" I mean they ain't looking that bad, they just ain't gone get me on that stage to recieve my diploma."
" How about I come over today and help you out with whatever you have problem with ."
" Thanks Mimi baby, I really appreciate that."

I want to see my bestfriend graduate now, so soon as we pulled up at the school we looked at each other and just shook our head because this school can be so unpredicatable.

" Oh yeah Mimi."
" Yeah Ce, did I mention my brother is going to be coming here with us. So be on the lookout."

Right when Cierra told me that, all of a sudden I got all tingly inside. For some reason, I didn't know if it was for the good or the worst. I mean me and Chris never actually had a conversation before it was always asking about Cierra or even a hey and bye thing, but nothing serious.
