After leaving the church, Chris and I went to our hotel room to put our clothes on for the reception. I wore a white dress with black heels and wore my hair in curls. I glanced over at Chris had one of those tight, trendy suits in black and white which was cute. When me and Chris got back in the limo, we started talking and I started to think to myself this was our first time talking as husband and wife, which was cute.
" Mrs.Brown, how are you and the little one feeling?" Chris asked.
" I'm feeling great Mr.Brown and this one is feeling jumpy." I said while laughing and leaning toward Chris to give him a kiss.
10 minutes later, the limo came to a stop and we was at our reception building. When we walked in the scenery was beautiful, everything I wanted was planned out that way. Since my dress wasn't 'get down crazy' type of appropriate, I still did my little dance then the dj called me and Chris to the floor so we can have our first dance together. The song they were playing was I'm Still In Love With You by New Edition, that is my song. After me and Chris dance, my father and I danced to Never Make A Promise by Dru Hill, which was always my favorite. That song made me think about alot but I snapped out of my thoughts until I noticed my dad whispering to me.
" Mimi baby girl, I'm proud of you. I truly apologize for the hell me and your mom was giving you at first. This is your day and I just want you to enjoy every moment of this, soon Chris will be doing this with Christina and if so a girl in there." He whispered to making me smile and pointing to my stomach.
" Aww thanks daddy and you didn't have to apologize I know you and mommy was just being concerned parents looking out for their little girl." I whispered back then whispered to him ' I love you daddy ' and gave him a kiss on the cheek. When I backed away from I noticed he was crying.
" Love you too sweetie." He said as he gave me a peck on the forehead. For the rest of the song we danced and at that moment, I realized how lucky I am because its not everyday that I have moments like this.
The song eventually ended and everybody started clapping making their way to the floor as Trap Queen by Fetty Wap came on. My feet was hurting since I had heels on and danced two times in the row without resting, but they were both special and loved every moment of it. After a hour of everybody getting down, it was time for the friends to say their little speech since Cierra is my maid of honor and Trey is Chris best man. So, Cierra went first and was so nervous for what this girl was gone say.
" Hey everybody I'm Cierra, Chris real sister and Mariah bestfriend. It's crazy because I never imagined my bestfriend and brother ever getting together, I mean I knew Mariah liked his music but not him. I started to know they liked each other when I saw them kissing in the kitchen-" Cierra said while looking back at me and Chris.
" But I wasn't that cock blocking friend and I didn't have a problem with them dating. I actually supported them one hundred percent, since I knew it been awhile for both of them have actually been in a serious relationship. I wanted to see if it would work since two broken hearts can come together to repair each other. Now that I see y'all have did more than repair, but built each others heart. From now on all I wish you guys is nothing but love and happiness." Cierra said and I guess it was my pregnancy hormones that had me crying or the speech was just that touching. I nodded my head in agreement to her and this time it was Trey turn.
" Wassup sis and bro, y'all know I'm new to this. My baby is a pro at this type of stuff, obviously. But let me start off saying that I knew you and Mariah was going to make it this far because the first week of y'all dating, bro you non-stop kept talking about her then the guys and I realized 'Man, Chris Really Has Someone That Actually Makes Him Happy.' So when I actually met Mariah I could understand where he was coming from because she's beautiful, intelligent, very much brave and independent and my good fellow brother, Chris, needs a female like that because if he didn't he would be lost.." He laughed and continued.
" But, Chris you my bro and we been kicking it ever since grade school so for us to actually being happy and building a family with the women we love it feels pretty damn good because it felt like yesterday that we was just making dumb decisions-" I cut him off.
" Trey really?" I said.
" Aha come on sis not right now. It's a crew thing not everybody need to know." He said while laughing.
" I wish the best for you and the family though, love y'all." He said as he threw the deuces up and putting the mic down. I got up and started talking as well.
" I want to thank everyone who came to support me and Chris today. Since, I'm four months along my pregnancy and is happily married feels so complete because I know I didn't want to be that old, grumpy lady with cats all over the house-" I was interuppted by Chris.
" You're not, it's going to be with dogs." Chris said while laughing.
" Y'all see what I have to deal with for the rest of my life now, but anyways I found out the sex of the baby and it's a boy." Chris quickly got out his chair and hugged me tightly then started kissing me without stopping until he was out of breath, which was for awhile.
After giving thanks to everybody for coming and telling everyone the sex of the baby, the reception was starting to die down and it was only 9:30 p.m. so we decided to have the clean up service come and clean up. Chris and I headed home within 25 minutes, I was sleepy and so was Christina because when I looked back in the backseat she was knocked out cold. When we reached home, I helped Chris by getting Christina bag then went in her room and kissed her forehead goodnight. When I got into me and Chris bedroom, Chris was nowhere in sight until I heard him call me from the bathroom.

" Mrs.Brown?" He called me.
" Yes, Mr.Brown?"
" Come here." He said, so I walked in and seen how he had rose pedals leading to the tub and had some rose pedals on top of the bubbles. The view was worth taking a minute of looking at then Chris snapped me out of my thought.
" Mariah are you going to get in or what?" He asked.
" Oh, I'm sorry baby yeah I was just admiring at how beautiful all of this is then you in there. Are you naked under there?"
" Aww, it's all for you and of course, why wouldn't I be naked?" He said asking a rhetorical question.
" I mean that is how we got here in the first and second place." I said pointing to my stomach and referring to Christina.
" Okay and we can make more." He said seductively helping me out my dress then I finally got in the tub all night me and Chris was talking then we ended our night with both of us being pleased.
