Let's get one thing straight, this is no ordinary Wattpad book. Most of you come here to read cheesy romance stories and the like. However, this differs from the rest of Wattpad, this entire place is full of those stories, so if you have a hankering to read of those, then go read one. This book is not like them.
I'd like to think that Wattpad readers would be open to other types of stories, but alas, there is a high chance this book falls into obscurity, never getting a single read. But hey, it's all a leap of faith.
Now, what is this book about? Wildlife.
I've always had a fascination with animals, way before I decided to become a zoologist. Like, does anyone even think about animals? For instance, Giraffes, they're 1,650 pound donkeys with necks longer than the Ming dynasty. Of course, if I had told you that without mentioning they're giraffes, you wouldn't believe me.
What about Chimps? Crows? Pigs? All of them have one thing in common, they're pretty smart. If I told you Crows can teach their children to hate you, you'd think I was joking. Alas, look it up.
Wildlife is so amazing, so unique, I just love it all. I really want to dedicate my life to them, which is a commitment. But it's worth it, maybe not to you... but to me? Heh.
I'm not saying you have to go out in the woods and hug every bear you see, I just think we could be kinder to animals. That we could live in peace with them. But sometimes it's hard to want to do something for them, when some organizations will tear you apart just because you can't fit their own agenda.
I'm not making a case for animals rights, I'm more of a Steve Irwin, live in peace and harmony with them kind of guy. But it's hard sometimes to stay on that type of person. Now, I'll go more on that later.
If you haven't caught on, this book is just me rambling on about wildlife and the like, how we can help them, my own journey, all that jazz. If you like it, read on and wait for the next chapter! If not, well... bye?
I'll end this chapter here, but always remember, conservation is key.
