Chapter 5-Mate
Ella's pov
I was walking in the castle gardens with Alice. I needed fresh air and Alice loved the garden so it was a perfect way to spend my time.
"Alice. I'm scared." I admitted, putting my head on her shoulder. She stroked my hair and smiled at me.
"Don't worry. We'll find a cure. I promise. We won't let you die." She told me. Her words reassured me, making me feel much better.
As we walked, I noticed Alec coming towards us. I waved to him. He smiled and walked over to us. Alice was frozen so I assumed that she was having a vision.
"Hi. I was wondering if I could borrow Ella for a bit?" He asked Alice. She nodded, grinning. What had she seen that made her so exited? I nodded and waved goodbye to Alice as I followed him.
"I have something to tell you" He said, facing me. I nodded for him to continue.
"Marcus spoke with me today after the meeting. He told me something great. I would of told you sooner but I was nervous." He rubbed his hand through his gorgeus hair. I smiled.
"What did he tell you?" I asked curiously. What would Marcus tell Alec that concerned the both of us?
"That us two are mates. He also said that because of this the Masters have all agreed to do the best they could to find a cure for you." He told me, grinning with joy. My eyes widened. I had a mate. I smiled finally processing the information. I had a mate. This was great news. And now the masters had agreed to help me. Today was the best day ever.
"That's the best thing I've heard all week." I said cheerfully before leaning in and kissing him. At first he was shocked but soon responded.
"This is the best day of my life since I was turned." He told me, making my heart leap in my chest.

We talked for hours. By six we already knew nearly everything about eachother. He had been turned a thousand yearrs ago when Aro saved him and his sister from burning at the stake because the village thought he and his sister were witches. I told me about my life with the Cullens and about how I was always ignored by them exect Alice, Jasper, Emmet and Renesmee.
He walked me to my room that I shared with Alice. I smiled at him in pure happiness.
"I had a great time today. I hope to spend more time with you soon." I told him.
"I do too. If you need me I'm on this floor three doors down on the right from your room." He told me. We shared a short kiss before parting.
I sighed before walking in my room to see Alice sitting on my bed bouncing up and down in exitement.
"Tell me everything!" She exclaimed.
I sighed. It was gonna be a long night.
