Chapter 2

Shane, Otis, and Andy had finally arrived at the high school, multiple walkers surrounded the area. Both Shane and Otis silently got out of the truck and snuck their way toward a cop car. Andy followed silently behind them, deciding to hide behind a random car.

Shane decided to sneak his way to the front of the cop car, slowly opening it. Without warning, Shane opened the trunk, causing Otis to jump slightly, accidentally hitting it with his elbow. Andy silently rolled her eyes, having known Otis to be clumsy.

Shane opened the trunk further, taking out some flares, then turned to Andy to show off what he found. He then lit some up and tossed at least three of the flairs away from their hiding spot. Andy ran behind the distracted walkers, with Shane and Otis following behind her.

They safely made it inside the pharmacy, a makeshift hospital used for the school. Andy decided to stalk up on bottles of pills, bandages, and any other small item. Meanwhile, Otis and Shane are grabbing items from the list Hershal gave them. After some more shuffling around, Otis and Shane were done, now getting ready to leave. Shane opened the door first, stepping out, allowing Otis to follow closely behind accidentally making a clanking noise.

Without hesitation, the two males booked it in the opposite direction of the walkers. Due to being behind them, Andy quickly closed the door, trapping herself inside the pharmacy. Thankfully, the two males distracted most of the hoard, only leaving a few to bang on the steel door.

~Later~

Mika was in the house, her arm is covered by a bandage to prevent bleeding out. More people hung around the house, due to accompanying Rick. They then hear the sound of a vehicle driving up the driveway and parking. Andy quickly jumped out from the bed of the truck, ignoring the new group of people. She stormed into the house, and without any warning, she grabbed Mika's arm.

"Mika, let's get out of here. Now" Andy demanded in a stern tone, leaving no room for arguments. Despite being slightly woozy, due to being drained of blood, Mika managed to get up and grab her backpack. Taking notice of her wobbly stance, Andy quickly tossed her backpack onto Mika's shoulders and lifted Mika onto her back. With a loud whistle, she called the two dogs over, to indicate they were leaving.

Andy then stormed out of the house, while carrying Mika, with Maggie quickly following after them. "Hey! Where are you going?!" Maggie called out in confusion while grabbing Andy's arm to stop her. "We're going home," Andy said in a stern tone, while unintentionally glaring at her.

"What? Why? What happened?" Maggie asked with a worried look while releasing her hold on Andy's arm. "Ask that jackass, over there," Andy said while pointing at Shane accusingly, earning a dirty glare from the said male. Andy gave him the finger and proceeded to storm off, heading away from Hershel's farm, the two dogs following after her.

~Little Later, On the Highway~

Currently, Tuva is rummaging through some cars, taking anything useful from them. From afar she can hear some rustling, thus gaining her attention. Quickly, she took out her gun, pointing it at the potential threat, only to lower it in disappointment. A dog had run out of the brush and jumped around her happily.

"Ugh, it's just you guys" Tuva groaned with slumped shoulders. Andy and Mika had walked out of the forest, Mika no longer needing Andy's assistance to walk. "Yeah, sorry for not being someone you can shoot," Andy said sarcastically with a roll of her eyes. Mika snickered at the remark, quite used to their small friendly banter. "So, what was that about, back at the farm?" Mika asked curiously.

"What happened? What farm?" Tuva asked while looking at the two curiously while petting a dog. "Shane killed Otis right in front of me and then he tried to fucking kill me" Andy rambled on as she kicked a car tire in anger. Suddenly, a can of food dropped on the ground, due to the disturbance, thus gaining all of their attention.

Tuva went to pick up the canned food, as she stood up she noticed the text on the car. This also included the stack of food and water. Andy looked at Tuva with suspicion, "Tuva... Don't... It's for all of us, we have to save for winter," she said as she stepped closer to Tuva. "Ugh, fine..." Tuva said with a dramatic sigh.

"But... What's up with the sign?" Tuva asked while pointing at the car's front window. The other two females peer over at the car, noticing some text on it. "Sofia, stay here, we will come every day" Mika read out loud with a confused look. "Do you think it's from the same group, over at Hershel's farm?" Andy asked curiously while looking between Mika and Tuva.

"Why were you guys at Maggie's? Didn't she get the eggs yesterday?" Tuva asked in confusion. Mika shifted her weight onto her right leg "Yeah, she did, we were just heading towards the Cabin, but then Otis accidentally shot some kid" Mika briefly explained to Tuva. "Oh, shit..." Tuva muttered, letting out a cough to hide a laugh.

"So... What do we do with the food?" Mika asked curiously, reminding them about the food in front of them. "Well... like I said before, we need to save up for the winter," Andy said slowly while grabbing a can of food from the car. Tuva started to pack the rest of the stuff into her backpack. "What if the group comes back, thinking this Sofia person was the one to take the food?" Mika asked worriedly.

"So...? She is most likely dead anyway," Andy said uncaringly. "Plus, if they think she is alive, they might continue supplying us with food and water" Andy pointed out, completely unfazed by this moral dilemma. No one said anything, knowing Andy is right, thus ending the argument.

"Well... What about the cabin?" Mika asked, reminding them about their initial trip. "We should drop everything off first. So that way we aren't carrying too much stuff back" Andy suggested. The two females nodded in agreement, thus they headed back to base as a group. The dogs happily followed after them, oblivious to the whole argument that transpired before.
