It has been a couple of days since I met Eddie. I decided that I didn't want to go to school when I initially was going to start. My mom finally had enough and yelled at me to get out of bed and that I was going to school today whether I wanted to or not. I ate my breakfast and we left. They dropped me off and kissed me goodbye. Walking down the crowded halls full of kids my age I spotted Eddie. I turned the other way and quickly walked away praying he didn't see me. I had hoped I didn't have or had the least amount of classes with him. But as I said I have the worst luck ever. I had not 1, not 2 not 3 but 4 lessons with him. The first class was about to begin and I took notice that Eddie didn't walk into my class so naturally, I thought the gods or the universe or whatever people wanna call it had finally taken my side. it was peaceful. I was lucky enough to get home ed. Everyone was so nice a supportive I had made more friends in one day here than anywhere else. Some of my newly found friends helped me to catch up with everyone. We were learning how to cook soups and stuff. Soon the bell rang and most of my friends went different ways but we all promised to meet up during lunch. Me and my friend cassie walked to our next class. UGHHH~math.
"Ugh~math, like who in this stinky town even has math for second"cassie spoke up over the loud and crowded halls.
"I know right like eww," I said with my puppets.
we walked down the halls to our next class talking about some random stuff. we sat down in the back of the class still talking and waiting for class to begin. there was one open seat left that was right next to cassie. right as the bell rang a guy came running in bursting through the door. everyone looked at this kid. I panicked and almost died. It-IT WAS EDDIE. He looked at me and started to walk over. 'Oh, why the hell is my luck so bad! now he is here and there is only one chair open.' he was walking over when his eyes meet mine. I felt butterflies creeping up in my stomach as he neared while maintaining eye contact. A slow smile came across his face. cassie just kept looking from me back to Eddie and before he walked any closer she turned to me.
"is that the guy you were telling me about," cassie asked with a sort of "really" type tone, and with a more hushed voice she said "really Eddie the freak fucking Munson." she look back at him and then back at me "u gotta be fucking joking right."
"ye that's him."I whispered "still forgetting that in new here, what the hell is so wrong, don't call him a freak, "I said as he before he reached us and took the seat right next to cassie. he took the seat and leaned back to have a clear view of me then said "hey"
