a/n: I just watched the last ep of stranger things s.4 vol.2 and I didn't really want to continue to write but here I am. just so u guys know I was visiting family and I don't know the names of anyone in eddies band yikes. forgot to mention this is based on 1979-1980
The day before the new kid arrived
Eddie pov:
I was just finishing up practicing with my band{Corroded Coffin}. Afterward, we got something to eat and hung out for a little longer. It's been raining a lot lately which is weird because it's spring. Geuss monsoon season is happening earlier this year.
"Yo, guys let's get some snacks before it rains." Boy 1 Said somewhat excited.
"Yeah Sounds good. I'm down." Boy 2 states
"We should watch scary movies when we get back" I exclaimed excitedly and dramatically, like how you would imitate a ghost or something like that. I already had a movie that just came out a few months ago. It was in VHS and it just so happens that I bought it, and brung it here. I was intending to watch it with the boys.
"Why? You have something in mind?" Boy 3 asked curiously
"You know it," I answered "So let's hit the road now before it rains" I urged them with a rushing tone. Boy 1s mom was going to take us so we quickly got into the car. On the way to the store, it started to drizzle. By the time we were on the way back to his house, it started pouring rain.
We set everything up in the garage of boy 1's house. We sat there for hours watching movies until we eventually fell asleep.
The next morning
We all had woken up around the same time. It was around 1ish. After, we hung out for a little longer and then started to get ready to leave. It was around 5-6 pm. So the sky was still lit when I arrived at the trailer park. The light that was once so bright fading somewhat quickly. The sky was more cloudy now meaning it was to rain again soon.
I was waving bye to my friend that took me to the trailer park. All of a sudden I felt something bump into my back. When I turned around I saw a cute boy that looked to be around my age. He seemed to be a bit scared. I expected an apology or a rude comment like watch where ur going, or something like that. Instead, I got a notepad shoved in my face with a sorry written on it nicely. It was weird but I let it slide cuz he was just too cute and had nice handwriting. Instead, I just chuckled and told him it was fine. Just then thunder struck and the winds started to pick up. The sky was much cloudier than before, and the smell of pure rain was way stronger than any other smell.
