TODAY GLEE CLUB started out rehearsal with the song 'Le Freak'.
It was a disco song, one that Mr.Schue was really enthusiastic about.
They were doing some moves and at some point Rachel almost kicked Mercedes in the face.
"Woah! Hell to the nah! First of all, you try to bust my face again and I will cut you. And also, this song is terrible."
"No no. It's not the song, you guys just need to get into it."
"No it's the song, it's really gay." Kurt nods.
"We need modern music Mr.Schue." Artie adds.
"I'm sorry guys, we don't have time to discuss this. We're doing this song this Friday at the pep assembly."
"In f-front of the whole school?"
"Exactly." Mr.Schue gestured at Tina.
"They're gonna throw fruit at us! And I just had a facial."
"I'll press charges if that happens."
"Guys. I can't express to you how important this assembly is. We need recruits. There are seven of you, and we need twelve the qualify for Regionals."
"We have no choice or the club is over, I know you guys don't like this song but we took Nationals back in '93 with 'Freak Out'."
"It's a crowd pleaser, trust me."
Mr.Schue clapped twice. "From the top."
Everyone knew that this song just wasn't going to do it. Even M/n.
*٩꒰｡‾᷅⌑‾᷅｡;꒱۶*
M/n groaned as he rocked his chair back and forth while doing his science homework and listening to Mercedes' and Kurt's argument.
"Okay guy how about Kanye?"
Everyone cheered as Mr.Schue walked in with sheet music.
"For the assembly??"
"No, we are still doing disco, but we can fold this onto our repertoire and it'll be awesome at Regionals."
"Communication is the foundation of any successful music group. If we're gonna succeed we need to communicate, you guys said you wanted modern music, I listened."
"Mr.Schue, we'd really like to not do disco at that assembly." Artie spoke.
"Finn you're going to take that solo."
"What? N-no, I can't do the solo Mr.Schue."
"I'm still learning how to walk and sing at the same time."
"No problem, I'll walk you through it." Mr.Schue shrugged off his jacket.
"Mercedes do you know this?"
"Oh I got this."
Mercedes starts off by singing the beginning of 'Gold Digger'
Everyone sings background as Will starts to sing and rap above them.
They all laugh when he finishes.

Glee club members sat in the gymnasium as Rachel banged a gavel down.
"I officially call this meeting of Glee Club in session."
"But Mr.Schuester isn't here."
"Mr.Schuester isn't coming, I paid a freshman to ask him for help with irregular verbs."
"Ugh, I'm so sick of hearing you squawk, Eva Peron." Mercedes groaned.
"What is this meeting for blueberry?" M/n tucked his hands under his chin to support his head as he sat down next to Finn. Everybody looked at him in confusion as he giggled.
"Get it? Cause her last name is Berry.." He chuckled to himself.
"I have another idea for the assembly." Rachel moved on after a second.
"Can I once again stress my most strenuous objections to these attempted suicides."
"They're not going to kill us, because we're going to give them what they want."
"Blood?" Kurt spoke, his eyes drooping.
"Better. Sex." Rachel nodded.
"What is s-sex..?" M/n asked in confusion as he repeated the word outloud.
Everyone looked at him wide eyed as they tried to change the subject to not explain it.
"Uh okay! Rachel, tell us what to do!" Kurt turned away awkwardly.
"Hey! Look at me! What's sex?! And why do they want it so much??!"

The curtains moved out of the way revealing the glee club members in different positions than when Mr.Schue had planned it.
They wore jeans and blue t-shirts.
M/n didn't know what all the gestures and moves meant but he was having fun.
He didn't know how many behinds were shoved onto him.
When they finished there was a small moment of silence before J.B stood up and shouted, causing everyone to stand up and cheer.

The only people who auditioned were three of Sue's Cheerios.
Santana, Quinn and another girl named Brittany.
Obviously they got in because of Mr.Schue's 'Whoever auditions gets in' policy.
M/n didn't mind, because neither of them were actually mean to him, or more like none of them paid attention to him, other than Brittany.
He was one of the few people who didn't call her stupid or dumb, and because they would always try to come up with plans to catch Lord Tubbington online gambling in the act.
