EVERYONE SLACKED off during today's rehearsal. Everyone thought that sectionals was going to be a breeze, so everyone just stopped trying to put as much effort.
Even M/n, who was so determined to try out show choir and show people what he can do, was sitting down next to Kurt watching funny YouTube videos.
Ever since they learned the set list for sectionals they just stopped trying, they were confident in themselves.
M/n leaned his head on Kurt's shoulder and nuzzled his neck as he got closer to get a better view of the phone.
To everyone else it was obvious that Kurt was blushing, but to m/n it wasn't.
M/n always thought he wasn't used to compliments, which may have been true, but he never even thought that Kurt liked him romantically.
It kind of hurt Kurt knowing that he probably had no chance of ever being with M/n since he was such an oblivious guy.
But as long as they were friends, Kurt was alright with just having M/n sit next to him like this.

"Competition." Mr. Schue began today's lesson.
"Every one of these people or elements was a champion in their own right." He turned around to a board with pictures of men, animals, and objects thumbtacked to the board.
"But they used competing with eachother to make themselves even better."
"I don't understand how lightning is in competition with an above-ground swimming pool." Kurt squinted.
"Just go with it." Mr. Schue shrugged.
"You guys have become complacent. You were great at the invitational, but you got to up your game if you want to get through sectionals."
Everyone looked as if they didn't care, they were too tired, or were too distracted to even listen.
"Okay split up. Guys on the left side, girls on the right side."
Everyone stood still until Mr. Schue ushered them to hurry up.
Kurt look at his side and swiftly walked to the girls team, but was sent back to the boys side.
"Here's the deal. Boys versus girls, one week from today you will perform a mash-up of your choice."
"What's a mash-up?" Puck asked.
"A mash-up is when you take two songs and mash them together to make an even richer explosion of musical expression." Their teacher explained.
"Boys will perform on Tuesday, girls the next day."
