"Kamibro, are you for sure? Because getting my hopes up isn't manly." The red haired hero pouted at his friend.

They were walking side by side as they patrolled the area and starting up new conversations every time the last one ran dry. Then suddenly Kaminari brought up knowing where Bakugo was working.

"Yeah, dude! I even have decent proof this time." He said, turning his body so that he walked sideways and could keep his gaze on his friend.

Kirishima glanced at Kaminari, pursing his lips and analyzing the genuine look on the blonde's face. Red Riot sighed before giving in to hope. "Where is he?" He breathed out.

It had been so long since anyone from Class 1A had seen Bakugo--especially since the last time they had seen each other hadn't been on the best terms. Kirishima grimaced at the reminder of that year.

Kaminari paid no mind to his friend who had stopped walking next to him. Instead, the blonde busied himself by looking in the next alleyway for any signs of crime. "He took a job at--wait where did you go?" He asked as he turned around to search for his counterpart. Spotting the still hero, he bounded over to wave his hand in front of Kiri's face. Blinking, the redhead snapped out of his daze.

"You okay?" Kaminari asked, eyebrows furrowed as worry etched itself on his face. He didn't like when his friends internalized everything instead of talking things out--Kirishima was one of those overthinkers. In High School, he hadn't been as bad since he had felt comfortable actually being himself around everyone…but the attack had messed with all who heard.

No one was safe after the events that happened a couple years ago--in fact almost all of Aizawa's class had been shoved into a room with a therapist once no-one was in imminent danger.

Kirishima, still slightly dazed, lifted his arms to grab onto Kaminari's shoulders. With a soft, yet slightly off smile, Kirishima exhaled slowly, as if to calm his nerves and further dissipate his anxiety. "Where is Bakugo?" He repeated softly, succumbing further to the hope that filled his heart.
