- ROWAN'S POV -

I STEP OUT of my car that is parked in front of Maeve and Silas' home after dropping Ivy, Alex, and Nadia back at the Adams building.

When Maeve questions where he is or what he is doing, Silas instructed me and the others to act oblivious.

I honestly feel sorry for her. Due to that asshole's constant absence these days, the poor girl is definitely anxious.

Nico texted me to go to the back of the house, where we always used to play basketball. Now with all the Ambrose clan shit, we never have time for it anymore.

I put my car keys away and head towards the back of the house, where I can hear the guys already talking.

"Did someone miss me?" I speak up, walking up to them while Xavier plainly blurts out, "No."

"Well, at least you're honest," I pat his back and scan the area. Leah and the boys are present, but Maeve is not.

"Hey," A voice mumbles, and all of our heads snap towards a smiling Maeve who I think, just got here.

I watch as Xavier rolls the basketball between his hands while keeping control of it, "Hello," he responds.

"Where is Silas?" I briefly close my eyes as Leo asks her before hearing him chuckle.

This man should know the difference between being obvious and being oblivious.

"Probably at the Ludovico building. He spends quite of his moments there," We can all tell that Maeve is bothered about it by her frown.

That asshole needs to propose to her faster.

"Haven't you guys talked to him?" She asks around and I lift my shoulders while shaking my head. That's how you act oblivious.

"We haven't. He has been busy with paperwork and stuff." Max tells her, "He is?" Maeve whispers to herself.

She appears to be attempting to focus on something other than Silas as she turns to face Max. "Did you find out about Ethan's location?"
