This was too fucking weird. That's all she could think as she sat in her chair in the corner of her room and watched him sleep. He was splayed out on the bed, his curls going every which way on the pillow.

She hated how he had come here to hurt her, but then ended up fucking her brains out. Then again, she could call it even for the whole T.A scheme. Still she was completely unsure how to feel about this. She just told him she couldn't get hurt again and here he is, sleeping in her bed.

"What are you doing?" His voice hoarsely mumbled within the dark. It caused her to jump. She could see him move around the bed until he was standing. He sleepily searched for his boxers while stepping on all sorts of things on the floor.

He carefully made his way over to her, only slipping on a few things. "How have you not fallen and broken your neck?" He asked as he gently knelt in front of her. Thankfully, she cleaned the area around her. He put his hands on her legs and kissed her knee that was against her chest.

"What are you doing?" He asked again. She shrugged, making him roll his eyes. "Come back to bed, then." He wrapped his hands around her ankles and gently pulled them until her legs were open and her feet were on the floor.

She moved until she was leaning her elbows on her thighs and only a few inches from his face. "I was serious when I said I love myself too much to get hurt like that again." She glanced out to the full moon that was lighting the room, then back to him. "I can't go back to your rules after this, Ben."

He took her face in one of his hands and leaned his forehead against hers. "Cassie, I have never met someone worth all the trouble in the world. I've never met someone who made me say "fuck it" and choose them over my morals. I really have missed you and more than I would be comfortable admitting."

She took his face in both her hands. "Why wouldn't you be comfortable admitting it?"

He let out a shaky breath. "Because I don't think you feel the same. It's the same reason I ran and left a note."

"Tell me," she whispered, needing desperately to hear it. She's waited this long, she deserves an answer!

"Because..." he choked on his next words, but quickly composed himself. "Because in the two days and three nights I knew you, I fell completely head over heels in love. I got so scared because I knew you didn't feel the same. I knew I was rushing into things and I needed to clear my head. I thought not saying goodbye would make it easier and it did not. At all. In the bloody slightest."

They both breathed out laughs, but her's lasted a little longer. "God, you're such an idiot," she said as she pretended to cry. "Like, you're really smart, you truly are. But holy shit, Ben, I've never met a bigger idiot when it came to the subject of love. Especially your own!"

He laughed as he nodded. "I know, I know. Again, I know you don't feel the same, but I guess you now know how I fee'mmmm..."

She covered his mouth to stop him from talking. "Once again, you are an idiot. You seriously don't think that I don't love you? You don't think that's the reason I went fucking psycho ex-girlfriend on you!?"

He took her hand away from his mouth, leaving him with a puzzled expression. "You love me? Like actually?"

"Like actually, Professor," she said before bringing him in for a lazy kiss.

When they pulled away, he moved his hands to her hips and squeezed them. "This puts us in quite the situation," he said against her lips.

"You can say that again," she breathed out. "What do you propose we do about it?"

He kissed her again, then pulled away quickly. He looked almost pained. "I was serious when I said I wanted to do the opposite of hurt you. No matter the choice we make, there is always a chance of one or both of us getting hurt in the end. I'm tired of making our choices for us. I want to know what you think we should do."

She let out a breath and almost had to laugh. She knew what she wanted, it was just the doubt that he wouldn't want the same. He could clearly see the fight in her eyes, so he took her hands in his as he said, "I want what you want."

Well, shit.

"I want you," she told him. "I know you're probably bad for me, especially with our past, but I can't stop thinking about you. I can't stop my need for you. I really want to be with you, Ben."

He brought her hands up to his lips and kissed them. "You have me," he told her. "You have all of me. I am yours, Cassie, just as you are mine."

She snorted, making him wonder if he had said something wrong. She then giggled, "That is the poshest way of saying we're together."

He narrowed his eyes as he playfully growled, "You little..." He abruptly picked her up in his arms as he stood. He looked into her blue eyes that blazed in the moonlight. "I suppose that is a posh way of saying we are boyfriend and girlfriend. If you'll have me, of course."

She took a deep breath, then said, "I don't know, I have this strict moral code about sleeping with teachers." She got a slap on the butt for that one. She squealed as he laughed. "Yes, Professor, I will have you."

"Good." He pulled her in for a deep kiss and walked them carefully back to bed.
