The next morning, Bonnie walked into a graveyard holding a bunch of flowers...
She stopped walking to see the gravestone she wanted.
'Jeremy Gilbert. Brother and friend.'
"Hey, Jeremy." She said, kneeling in front of his headstone.
She placed the bunch of flowers on the floor.
"You know, I was... I was thinking about the last thing I said to you: "we did it?" Totally lame last thing to say to someone."
She stared at the headstone and she cried.
"That wasn't a goodbye, Jeremy, you- You were supposed to come back with us."
"Bonnie."
A tear rolled down her cheek and she stared ahead and smiled.
"Jeremy?" She asked, turning around.
"Wake up."
She stumbled and she got to her feet.
"How are you here?" She asked.
"Bonnie, wake up."
"I don't understand." She said.
"Open your eyes. Bonnie, open your eyes!"
She opened her eyes to see she was asleep on the couch and saw a fire.
"Oh, my God." She said, waving her hand, and the fire disappeared.
Later, Stefan and Damon stood in the living room of the boarding house, and they threw a ball at each other...
"So, what has it been? Eight or nine days?"
"Yeah, eight or nine days. I don't know, I lost count." Stefan said.
"We lost count of the consecutive days in which Ellie Gilbert has not killed anyone. I'd say that's progress, brother."
"So, what are we gonna do... just, uh, throw the football around for another 150 years... till Ellie gets her humanity back? Because that's not cool with me." Stefan says.
