Brushing her fingers through her hair, Amara stared at her reflection unable to stop the smile that formed on her face as she thought about the last few days.

Her eyes catching on the love marks that Oberyn had left on her skin, which had only darkened since he had made them and she couldn't deny that she had likely left her own across his skin.

Oberyn was just as she had imagined, a very skilled lover who knew just how to work her body to get what he wanted from her.

It was certainly not an experience that Amara would say no to again, her body ached remembering how he had worshipped her life there was no tomorrow.

Biting at her lip, Amara shook her head as she tried to focus on getting ready for the day ahead of her; today Doran's children would return to them from across the sea.

Arianne and Quentyn had been missed at court and Doran was eager for them to return from their time with their mother, he hated when they went away although he would not keep them from their mother.

No matter how badly things had ended with Mellario, she would likely always hold a special place in his heart as his former love and the mother of his children.

"I am surprise that you are out of bed my love," Oberyn mused stepping into the chamber, his eyes raking over her exposed skin and feeling rather disappointed that she had covered up.

He approached her from behind and ducked down to press his lips to the exposed skin of her shoulder, his facial hair scrapping along the skin in a pleasant way that had Amara closing her eyes.

"We are to greet your niece and nephew upon their return to court," Amara reminded him, she tilted her head back slightly so that she could peer up at him from over her shoulder; her dark curly hair cascading down her back as she did so.

"I figure putting clothes on would be a good first step, as alas I am not sure they would appreciate my nakedness as much as you seem to," Amara teased him, their eyes meeting for a moment before Oberyn pressed a kiss to her lips.

His hands tangling in her hair as he held her in place, a victorious smile forming on his face when he felt Amara reach up to rest her hands on his shoulders and move to stand from her seat.

Guiding Amara back towards the bed, Oberyn did his best to navigate around the furniture of her chambers so that they didn't bump into anything.

Something which seemed to prove a challenge especially when he was rather preoccupied with getting Amara out of the gown that she had put on that morning.

A laugh escaped Amara as they bumped into another piece of furniture, she pulled back from Oberyn's kiss so that she didn't end up falling over something or risk turning up late for the celebrations.

"We really do have to get ready," Amara said shaking her head, she moved to step away from Oberyn so that she might prepare for the festivities that Doran was throwing.

Amara was expected to play hostess in the absence of Doran having a wife and consort, she knew how important it was that they show a united front especially with the Uller plot on both her and Oberyn's mind.

"I am sure my brother will be more than understanding of our tardiness," Oberyn objected reaching for her, his hands resting on her waist as he pulled her back to him.

His front was pressed against her back, his lips brushing against her neck as he murmured sweet nothings into her ear.

"Surely you don't expect me to go to the festivities like this," Oberyn mused pressing his lower body against her, his lips working at the skin behind her ear as she gasped in surprise.
