The Meeting that changed everything

Note: For my marvel fans out there this story occurs after the events of Avengers: Endgame just minus the deaths of Tony Stark, Natasha Romanoff and Steve Rogers. In this world, Tony Stark didn't snap his fingers but Carol Danvers did, in this world Vision didn't die in Infinity War rather he survived all thanks to Shuri and managed to live the next 5 years mourning the loss of Wanda. In this world wandavision doesn't occur but her kids are introduced instead and the world of Westview occurs just differently, No Way Home doesn't occur but the other movies and tv shows did occur. In this world, Loki is still alive and is now a fellow Avenger instead. So enjoy this world of fluff, love, drama, secrets and above else the original 6 still together. NO ONE IS RETIRED NOT EVEN CLINT BARTON. By the way, instead of Steve going back in time to be with Peggy, he does go back in time but instead marries Natasha Romanoff(yes I hope I have sufficed the Romanogers fandom). So what that means is that Nat and Bruce never occurred(I hope everyone is happy with that little info). Also, I will bring up the fact that Bruce Banner has lived in an abused home for 12 years so there will be tons of references. Alyssa used to live in Ohio with Bruce and they were neighbours. Also in this story, Bruce Banner returned to his normal self it's just that the relationship between him and hulk is now better also get ready for some angry hulk.

No one's pov

If there was one thing Dr. Alyssa Montgomery hated with a burning passion it most definitely was meetings. She would rather just be in her laboratory than in some random conference room with a bunch of agents, talking about stuff that she doesn't even like. At least there was one good thing about this meeting; Her latte. 

Alyssa was drumming her hands on the glass table and sipping her latte when Director Fury of SHIELD walked in.

"Sorry for keeping everyone waiting. I was just in another meeting with the council," Fury said as if that was supposed to make Alyssa feel something. All it made her feel was angry that she wasn't in the lab right now tinkering on something or making some serum that was going to save millions of lives. But no, she was fricking stuck in this meeting and was close to falling asleep. 

As Fury was talking he noticed someone was asleep. Doctor Alyssa Montgomery head of Nuclear and everything relating to physics, gamma radiation, biochemistry, bio organics. As well as the consulting scientist relating to everything in the field of biology, chemistry, and physics. She is their resident nerd, besides Doctor Banner and Mr. Stark, of course. She is also a medical doctor whose main area of expertise is in internal medicine, and emergency medicine and holds licensure as a surgeon. She's the consulting medic for SHIELD.

She's basically a genius who was currently sleeping through Director Fury's meeting.

"I didn't know I was boring you, Doctor Montgomery," The Director said loudly enough for her to hear.

Alyssa dropped her pen and notebook. Her glasses were crooked and her hair was messy.

"Why were you sleeping doctor?" He said in a stern yet firm tone indicating that he does not want any funny business from her.

"I uh, I um, I was just tired from working yesterday sir," She responded with a sheepish look on her face as she ran her fingers through her hair.

"We'll talk about this later doctor," Fury said as he returned to talking. "Now as many of you know recently there was an attack at the Avengers Compound. The man responsible for this is Thanos of Titan. The people of Titan mean no harm but he wanted the infinity stones to make his Gauntlet he didn't get it. Now as New York is being reconstructed we have a problem. While New York did take a hit, the Avengers compound is back to normal and everything is fully operational. Many of you know of Doctor Banner am I correct?"
