When we get to the parking lot we follow Shelia to the car and get in. "Look you guys. I know how hard this is for you. I'm sure your Aunt Cathy will take good care of the two of you" She tells us. "And she has no children only your cousin Landon she sometimes picks up after school and stuff" she adds. The car ride is almost pure silence. when We get to our house Tyler and I get out only speaking again to say "okay" to Ms.Sheila when she tells us what time she'll be here in the morning. As soon as I get inside I collapse on my bed and burst into tears. After I recover from that I silently pull bags from under my bed and just pack up everything in my room. It takes about 4 hours and when I'm finished there's nothing in my room but a row of bags, empty dressers, and my hot pink walls. I go over to Derron's room and pack up all his stuff for him. When he gets here all he'll have to do is grab is stuff and go. No need to deal with my mom any longer than he has to. When I finish Derron's room , I go downstairs and grab all the photo albums. After I go to the kitchen and grab all the snacks and food I like. I stuff all of that into one bag. I go over to Tyler's room and stare at him. He's packing up all his stuff and he's crying. The saddest thing was to see your 17 year old brother cry. "You OK" I ask. "Mom doesn't want us and Dad died. I can't handle that" he says. "It will all get better as soon as we get to Aunt Cathy's" I tell him. "I don't want Aunt Cathy! I want my parents" Tyler exclaims and falls on the floor and starts crying. I go over to hug him. I help him finish packing his room. It seems like were in the forever until we finally finish. After we finish Tyler's room I go to my own room and lay down. A room I've had all my life. From when I was a little girl and my daddy would rock me to sleep all the way to sleepovers when I was 13. I start to cry. Then finally drift to sleep.
