Chapter 10

I tell Aunt Cathy about the movies and she agrees because she said Caleb is a nice sweet boy and she knows his parents. I tell her I'll pay for my own ticket but she protest and ands me two $20 bills. "I hope you know I'll have to get my own Job. Maybe babysitting" I explain. "Well talk about it when you get back" she replies and I walk over to Caleb's. I don't bother to change clothes only reapplying deoderant and perfume. As soon as I get there Caleb is outside waiting for me. He was 16 and could drive and had his own car. I get into the car and put on my seatbelt. "So. You look beautiful" he tells me. "Thank you" I answer blushing and turning red. As were driving Caleb puts his hand on my leg. I like it but I hope he knows what won't happen. "You have cute braces" I tell him. "Thank you beautiful. You wanna know what they taste like" he asks me. "Not today Satan" I mutter under breath. "What was that" he asks me. "Oh noth--" I try to get out my mouth before being bombarded with a kiss. I kiss him back of course but I pull away because this was getting intense. "Let's go into The movie" I say. "Yeaah" he replies. We go inside the movie. "Two tickets for Anabelle" he says handing the cashier a $20. "I have my own money" I tell him. "What type of guy would I be if I let you pay for yourself" he asks. "A jackass" the woman in line next to us says Eyeing her date after he made her pay for her own ticket. Caleb and I both laugh at that. He pulls me by the hand and we both go into the theater.

I hold on to Caleb most of the movie because I was really scared. After the movie ends Caleb takes me out to eat. "Hey I didn't know we were coming here " I tell him looking at my phone. 10:02 I decide to text my aunt about the sudden change in plans.

Hey Aunt Cathy. Caleb and I stopped for a bite to eat.

Aunt C ❤: Okay see you when you get home honey.

We get our food and sit in a booth. A waiter comes to greets. "Hi I'm Angie and I'll be your waitress today. Are you ready to order" she asks. "I'll have a Chicken quisedilla with shredded chicken with a strawberry lemonade" I say already knowing what I want. Caleb looks at me with admiration. "I'll have a bacon burger with fries and a sprite" he says. The waitress takes our orders and leaves. "So. I haven't seen you around here before. Why are you here now" he asks me. "Long story. just know I'm here now" I tell him. "I wanna know everything. please tell me" he says. "No" I exclaim sternly. "No. I don't want to talk about it" I add softening my tone. "You'll tell me eventually" Caleb says. "Whatever" I reply. Our food comes and we eat and carry on casual conversation. After we eat he takes me home.
